[Golden Legacy]

Time for a little reflection. Go back to the moment that you first joined the forums. What spurred you to join, and how were you first received by the forum? And whatever else is relevant.

Personally, I think I got off to an awkward start at GSSF. I was actually "observing" the forum since it was first created, but I didn't have the time (or courage) to join two months later. And when I did, I was at the peak of my "Golden Sun mania". I was incredibly hyped up about the games, having just completed The Lost Age, and I thought it best to introduce myself by saying the following...

Yep. I started talking about Golden Sun fanfiction. :!: Not the cool introduction I had hoped for.

But ah well. That's been a while, and I've come a long way since those days. :)

Ah, yeah.

I only lurked for a few days. I joined when I decided I wanted another go at a forum. Turns out I like this place better, having a 99.999999% uptime compared to FEP and the forum had a lot going for it; as did the site. My second and currently only MD Sprites branch was a go at swimming with the current. Did better than the FEP counterpart.

More or elss, when I joined, I was looking for another hangout and another place to try my hand at sprites.

Unfortunately, my spell check usage isn't the case anymore. They didn't have it at FEP, so I assumed it would be fun. I forgot that PDM and BLL did actually recognize my avatar bakc at the FEPF.

I waited for about a day, then I decided to join. Quite a few people joined the same day as me, which was cool.
I only really got active after the summer holidays though.

When I first joined, I had no clue how the heck this place worked. I joined for only one reason: And I still don't know what it was. I had known about this site for ages, and knew that there was a forum. But like every other site that I've been to that also had a forum, I didn't join. Mostly because I was too lazy.

I never made an introduction topic. I did what most new members do and just go straight to the 'General Discussion' forum and spam the place up with short, meaningless posts in old, dying topics.

I was still a die-hard member of NSider back when I joined so this wasn't really my priority. After NSider got old, I came back here and that's basically when I really started to appreciate the community here.

I joined after lots of procrastinating. I think I said something like that in my intro topic... that I've been playing GS since it came out and shiz... found the site years ago, kept forgetting to join the forum... then I lost my The Lost Age cartridge and wasn't able to replace it for over a year... finally replaced it a couple of months ago, got obsessed again, forgot where some Djinn were, came to the site to check, and then I was all "Oh yeah, the forums. I was going to join it about two years ago" and got off my arse and signed up. xD
