THIS IS NOT AN ANIME TOPIC!! There is already an existing Anime topic, this is for NON-JAPANESE cartoons. Talk about any American/European cartoon.
Now, my fave is the Generation 1 Transformers from the 1980's. The toyline is from Japan, but the cartoon was made in America, to get that clear. I have a DVD collection bought from Amazon of all the episodes. Did anyone else watch it?

GL, was it only Beast Wars you watched? Did you watch G1(it wasn't called Generation 1 back then, it was only The Transformers, fans now call it G1 so that everyone knows which TF series they are talking about)?

I remember watching the sequel to Beast Wars, which was titled Transformers, but I've never seen Generation 1.
And yes, I forgot to mention: Avatar: The Last Airbender! How could I forget that? Thanks for reminding me, PS.
And Arthur is totally awesome. Got to love PBS!

I've still got the theme tune in my head. I used to like Arthur as well.
When I was younger I used to love a cartoon called Mr Benn. It was about a man who goes to a fancy dress shop and buys clothes. When he wears them he goes to whatever the clothes are about.
I know it sounds pretty bad but trust me, it was cool when I was 7.
There's also Wacky Races. Couldn't beat that either.

But, since I don't have any channels, I had a very deprived childhood. The only time I could ever watch cartoons was when I was at a relative's house or something. But I remember loving Tom and Jerry. And Samurai Jack was also pretty cool. There were a bunch of really old Cartoon Network ones that I can't remember the names of, but they were beyond incredible. I'll see if I can't find them somewhere...

I used to like the Amazing Spiderman cartoons they did (not the one's from the 60's). You can still see them occasionly. Perfect to watch when you're stuck at home ill.

Batman: The Animated Series from the 1990's! How could I have forgotten!? That was truly awesome.

As I said already, it wasn't called Generation 1. It was called just "The Transformers", or without the "The". But people call it Generation 1 today because there are so many Transformers series people get them mixed up. And Generation 1 was the first ever Transformers, while Transformers: Beast Wars was the second or third.

I never really found that funny. Well some of it is quite funny and I can understand why it's more popular than other cartoons, but I don't like it personally.
Worringly my eldest sister likes it and she's 26.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Mario and Luigi
Mortal Kombat
Streetfighter
Those shows owned, too bad they were all cancelled randomly one day. Made me sad.

I used to watch the very very bad Sonic cartoon that was on in Britain. (I know there were a few but only one was shown here). It was another 'great when you're 4 years old, awful later on.' I've seen the Mario and Luigi cartoon as well. It's weird.
@GL: I was never allowed to watch the Power Rangers when I was little. It was classed as too violent by my parents. :P

There was also a very short Zelda cartoon. There were only about 10 episodes. I've never seen it, but I heard it wasn't all that good.
There is even an F-Zero cartoon which sounds really crap. Once again, I've never seen it, but if it's like Pokemon then maybe I shouldn't see it at all...

I've heard of it but never watched it. It's supposed to be bad though.
Rarely do any games related shows or movies take off.

When I was younger, I mainly watched Dexters Lab, Looney Tunes, and Ed, Edd, & Eddy. I watched Pokemon ocasionally. I always thought Power Rangers were stupid though, but then again, I watched Pokemon, so I shouldn't be talking. =P
