What tablets from a pain in a throat you accept?

    Why the hell did you post taht 3 times?

    I'd say solphadiene ( sp) or ibubrofen are good pain killers.

        I tend to use parcatemol (sp?). It usually works for me.

          By the way, I think Vaakkii is another one of the many jokers who have joined just to make topics like these in which they post the same thing three times. Except the other topics were all about "I'm married and I want hot sex!" This is a little different. I think the point is to click the two links in his/her post. They'll probably overload your PC with viruses or something so don't. I mean, who would become a member of a Golden Sun forum to ask what tablet we drink when our throats hurt!?
          No offence to Vaakkii if this is not the case. :P

            Don't use tablets. Just lie in bed and sleep.. Much better.

              I'd just sleep the sore throat off. Either that, or gargle with warm salted water. Works like a charm.

                I drink orange juice, take an airborne (it's an imune booster tablet. You should be able to find it at any pharmacy, or even Wal Mart for that matter), or take a spudophedrine (sp?). I always catch at least one cold every year in the winter.

                  Bedrest and plently of Vitamin C usually kills off a Cold for me. But when I was younger, my mother ALWAYS made me do heaps of physical work in order to "sweat it out". Im not sure if it worked or not, but I still stand by plenty of Vitamin C.

                    Heh, don't get me started about Vitamin C.

                    Anyway, I prefer to let a cold slide unless it develops into something more serious, like an ear infection. Just keep some tissues on you at all times, or people will start glaring whenever you snort.

                    They're not joke members; they're called spambots, also known as advertising bots.
                    From what I've learned of them, they're a program that you can pay to use over the internet (I can't remember what to search for on Google, but searching something specific displays spambot software), and when paying to use it, you can make it distribute a specific message, and the bot will then go through a list of hundreds, possibly thousands of forums, where it will register, post that message as a topic, and will never return again as it will be going onto the next forum to post the same message.
                    Their IP addresses usually resolve to Ukraine, Russia, Colombia, China, and sometimes Germany.
                    That's the jist of them, at least.
                    Oh, by the way, to all staff here: If you want a little help with possibly banning a lot of known spambots from even registering here, I can pass on the ban settings list for emails to you from the forum I administrate. Just PM me if you want. :D

                    About sore throats? I usually take Halls Soothers, and tolerate it.
