I don't mean to look like the bad guy here, and I am usually very accepting of new members. But when a new member consistently make topics that make absolutely no sense, and makes posts that have nothing to do with the parent post, I tend to get just a bit frustrated.

We weren't 10 years old when we joined, so it didn't take too long to realize that what we were doing was wrong and to fix our mistakes. I know that when I joined, I was a bit of a drama king, but it didn't take long for me to become a more productive member. I was able to act more mature, because as a person I was more mature.

But when kids join the forum, and I mean kids, you can tell them off all you want, but because they don't have the ability to be more mature, they cannot learn their lesson.

I know that Mr. T and Split, not to pick on them, were kinda annoying when they joined and you're using them as indirect examples as members who have become productive. This is true! But only because they are old enough to realize that this is a mature forum and stuff like "UBERTEHOMGNESS" will not be tolerated (not for long at least).
