ok my mom was driving me to a school dance. then she dropped me off. she told me as she was picking my up she thinks she saw an apparition (fancy). when we drove to that spot she showed me how she saw it.
can anybody tell me if my mom actually saw a ghost??

    ok it was an intersection:

andthe 'ghost boy' was standing at the corner:
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/cyberRoll2/Ghostboy.jpg

so my mom drives up to the corner an sees this boy and thinks he's going to cross the road so she stops:
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/cyberRoll2/MOMSCAR.jpg

he doesnt move so she drives past him then she stops turns around in her shair and he's gone! :

there wasnt anything like any trees or a house for any kid to hide behind and unless he could run at like 150 mph in 2 seconds flat and escape a person in a cars sights then i dunno what happned.

did my mom see a ghost???

Divine intervention. I dunno. Did you know that there are 3 deaths in the US that are officially accredited to supernatural causes?

Maybe it was just someone who ran away. Or maybe it was the supernatural.
In my opinion the Anubis theory is probably true. ;)

Hm... I once thought I saw a ghost. It was the middle of the night and I was walking through some rooms of my house(don't ask me why) and then I saw it. It was actually much more different than what anyone would expect. It was sort of greenish and it glowed. It was round and quite small, I could barely see any details on it. It didn't move at all. I never saw it again.
Before that I never believed in ghosts. After that I didn't know what to think. That was about 5 years ago, and I decided in the end that it was just a fiction of my imagination, since I think about everything logicaly, and ghosts aren't logical.

I don't think what your mother saw was a ghost. I think it was Anubis.

I think the supernatural in general is a bit dubious. Like you said, I like to work in logical things, and ghosts aren't logical.
Then again there's always room for mystery. And Ghostbusters. ;)

No, your mother did not see a ghost. What she saw was Nemphtis. Which is lucky because she never really sees him as he gets her from behind. ;D

Heheh. Yeah, Anubis was stalking your mom. Got it all on camera right here. *pats camcorder*

I could've sworn I saw a ghost once. I was walking through a corn maze on halloween about 5 or so years ago with my family, and off to the side, deep into the cornmaze, was this HUGE circle. It was like the whole area right there had been stomped down. Right in the middle was a tall, glowing figure. It was impossible to tell if it even had any features, and it glowed with a greenish, and bluish tinge. Funny thing was, was that I was the only person who even noticed that there was a flattened out area right there, and it wasn't like there were any cornstalks between the main path, and it.

It was a little creepy if you ask me, but I was also really curious at the same time.

I wish something like this happened to me now. I've got the guts now, so I would walk straight over to it to see what it was.

Maybe that was actually an alien Toasty? Maybe you were obducted(sp?), but you can't remember because they wiped out that part of your memory. Lucky you.

Abduction....that would explain the spam. Perhaps that probe isn't affecting you anymore!

I don't think your mom saw a ghost, even though it's hard to describe where the kid went. Sometimes weird stuff happens, but very rarely is it supernatural.

Well it really could've been an alien....<.<;; Infact, I was debating at the time whether it was an alien, or a ghost. I sorta paused for a second when I looked at it, and then continued on.
And SoT, if it was a probe that made me spam, I think I'd still be holding the flood gates of spam-hell open.

                                        Rofl!

I've heard this kinda thing happening loads, it's a basic storyline for a ghost story. I doubt this actually happened.

Caael, so you're actually saying his Mom came up to her son to tell him something that happened to her and made up a big, fat, juicy lie? I don't see why she would do that...

Dunno why, but this post really reminds me of those 'Your Mother' jokes, like:

You have a signature the size of my cork, you think pornography is stupid and you haven't hit puberty yet. I'm surprised you have any ideas at all with a track record like that.

Ya and I am guessing you got the ego the size of my house whats your point? Ya I think it is stupid, and I could name a bunch of reasons, but that would go way off the topic. As for puberty I have hit it one way, but not the other.

Again your point? can we just get back to the topic at hand, because now your just starting to act like a 5 year old. I don't have the time to waste with someone who is going to make pointless jokes to annoy me. Your just wasting my time and yours.

I don't know what's more funny young man, my jokes or your pathetic excuse for a come-back. I already know I have a huge ego, much larger than you could ever even imagine. So why point out the obvious? Do you think you're the first person to point out my ego? Come on kid, you might be young but that's no excuse to come up with something that boring. Throw me something with more originality, something random and funny.
