There are loads of jokes going on about the WTC incident and everything around it already. And before that, there have been hijackings too.

Actually, I was in Belgium for most of it. And I went on ferry. The whole trip was very sad, we saw memorials with every single name of people who had died in the war. The memorials were massive. The names were tiny. And we went through graveyards, and I foudn one with my second name on it, and it was right next to one with my friend's second name on, which is very wierd. All in all though, it was a good trip.

Sorry, maybe I'm being too picky about jokes made in light of a terrorist attack that resulted in ten thousand deaths. I mean, if everyone else is making fun of it, that must mean that it's right!

I'm not saying there should be jokes. I'm just saying that there shouldn't be such a fuss about there being jokes about it. If everyone's going to stay a talk about it being so terrible they'll lose focus. People get panicky and expect terrorist attacks from everywhere. I know old people who are afraid of leaving there houses because of everyone in the news bringing news of complots from everywhere. Jokes at least make things more copable for people.

By not joking about it you're doing nothing. But by telling people off for joking about it does create a certain seriousness, which is some cases does lead to people getting more scared.

Well, I'd like to see some of the historical sites, you're lucky you got to go on a trip like that.

We went to vimy ridge, and the Menin Gate for the 11th of the 11th ceremony. We went to loads of other places, but I cant remember the names. I have some photo's as well, but I doubt I will be able to scan them.
