Of corse we have pride, we were the ones that had the largest empire in Europe once,we were the ones that saved Europe from Turks and Mongols,We were the ones that beaten large armies and held victory,we were the ones that won lots of medals in sports we had famous people like Chopin,Pisutki, nickolas copernicus, Skudowska Curie,John Paul II.

hold up poland wasn't even in the world wars. The mongols strayed after gengis khan and his son died, because the next heir was peaceful and stayed in china. The turks mabye. I know nothing about the sports so don't ask me about that.

Somewhere in there, you must have forgotten the part where your army was defeated by the German blitzkrieg. Just thought that maybe you might want to add that in.

Still, as much as I admire your patriot...ism (not a word is it?), is it really worth creating a topic about it? Believe me that if I thought it was, I would have created one about Britain a long time ago.

They were, in WW 2. The first German invasion was in Poland. Well not the first, but the invasion that started the war. Because of the invasion of Poland, England and France declared war on France.

This guy is pretty... patriotic, but America is way worse. America's stereotype is being fat, ignorant and uberpatriotic. And although stereotypes are.... bullcrap, they mostly are based on something.

Not to turn this into a full blown war, but how the hell would you know? It ain't the south either, because I live there and so far I haven't seen a bit of that.

I suppose Poland is pretty cool, and they've had their fare share of rough times..Although i thought it was the Holy Roman Empire (Germany) who defeated Genghis Khan..but then, the HRE may have included Poland at that point so yeah.

And lets face it, everyone is patriotic about their country - In Britain, everyone goes on about how much they hate the country, the government and the weather, until some foreigner comes along and insults one of the three, and then everyone is all defenseive saying we're betting than everyone else and that the USA is only as good as it is cos they copied us XD. People are fickle.

Dude, don't start thinking the Polish saved the world from doom or anything, I'm pretty sure that KengishKahn died because he was so drunk that when he got a heart attack or something he drowned in his own blood or something weird... I read something about defeating the nazi... I just lolled... I believe the Germans Blitzkrieged there within a month or something. Don't get me wrong now, the Polish did have a vast empire and they did some great things but dude, you're only 12 years old, at my school we didn't get very in-depth history at that age, you might want to wait a couple years before you make conclusions like those, it was a whole lot more complicated then you are stating...

I think there are better ways of saying that you like your country than resorting to a topic like this. Just put 'I like Poland!' in your signature or something.

Poland did do that. The Mongols where just about finished off though and Ghengis Khan was dead by then. So the mongols didn't stand much of a chance. Poland was the last and if the mongols where at full strength they might have done to Poland what they did to China and Persia and so many other lands.
