Dispite what some say, Camelot has never given any indication that it's working on a GS3. The only shred of hope I have left is the open ending of TLA. I'll hope against hope, but the pragmatist inside me says no way.

I'd say yes, but its still not looking very good right now. Camelot doesn't seem to be saying much right now, and if they probably were to make another GS game, it might take them a while. Just my opinion on it.

I think this is going to be one of those series that they make a crappy third game for in 10 years, then follow it up with a fourth game that owns the crap out of everything else, then they remake the first two, then they make like two more and then it finally ends. Or something.

I like a lot of single songs too... Bands I need to look at: Plastic Constellations Cauterize Patent Pending And a bunch of local bands that you'll probably never hear of. Pandora rocks. I'm running out of things to say here. Perhaps I like duct tape? Yeah. This likely won't be touched for another year when my tastes have completely changed.

I'd say it may happen sometime. Still, since The Lost Age came out almost four years ago, it may be unlikely.

I read on IGN about Camelot's newest RPG-in-making. In the article, Hiroyuki Takahashi was stating that he loved RPGs a lot, and that Golden Sun, was one of his favorite creations. Maybe a GS3 could very well come out, but we can't be totally sure...

If it is in development it's obviously being kept under lock and key. GS3 would cause a large stir in the gaming world should it ever be confirmed.

I'd like to say that the likelihood of a GS3 is high, because this series of games is probably going to stand as one of my personal favorites (and most time-consuming)

But right now, it seems like a GS3 won't happen. There was not much of an open-ended ending in GS2, not enough for a definitive sequel, and three years later we have seen little to no sign of Camelot working on a sequel to Golden Sun.

I vote that no, I don't think it will ever happen.

Maybe I'm being naive here, but I picked the third one.

Keep in mind that a game doesn't have to be a continuation of the previous in it's series, it could be linked in some other way as well.

They are not TOGETHER. They just guarding the lighthouse because they're part of the water clan. Like how vale is guarding Sol Sanctum. And they'd need more than that for a complete story, because we all know what happens after. The time period is just too close I suppose. o_o;; (Just watch your wording, I'm a muddship supporter. :x)

Why not... like the origin of the stone of sages (philosopher's stone), or..something rather.

Well they did not relativaly say how Alex and Mia met, what happend with them and how he met saturous and mendardi. You may think its to long a period, but between him leaving Mia and Alex meeting Saturous and Menardi, could be a very long time. Plus you don't even know what between that and the GS starting. There are more possiblities then you see.

Now the stone of sages would be another could prequal.

Golden Sun: The Stone of Sages. Sounds pretty cool. It could tie in with my idea for a prequel as well, since we know next to nothing about Kraden's past.

Or was the Stone of Sages many thousands of years ago?

If we really want a game centered around The Stone of Sages, Kraden wouldn't even be involved. The Sages would. We could use Maskah! I could write the plot, and I would be famous!
