A pretty fun series by Criterion that I only started liking when I played Point of Impact. The stupid thing glitches early in the Custom Series however, pretty much barring me from progressing. I need to try the other sequels.
Any other players out there?

Bizarre. I saw Burnout: Revenge earlier today and considered getting it, but I changed my mind.
My other experience of Burnout only comes from a demo I played a long time ago. It's a good series and that's coming from someone who hates driving games.

Best racing game that I've ever played, I don't personally own it, but have played it dozens of times at friends houses. The speed is incredible but sadly, it gets old like most racing games.

I think it's bizarre that one of the main aspects of the game is to try and crash so you get more points. I guess that makes it a bit different to the rest.

That combined with the speed makes it an incredibly fast game, especially trying to dodge pillars through all this. But once you get really good, it gets really old.

Crashing for points is just one of the game modes. In the lap races, you'll want to avoid that, since it puts you behind and halves your Burn meter.
Crash for Cash is a pretty cool game mode however. You simply pick an intersection, then blast off at full Burn and try to cause a mass pileup, which occurs in slow motion. Each car involved in the crash adds to the multiplier, and the total insurance damage is your final score.
