Welcome to the forums!
And who said being a nerd was a bad thing? I kinda pride myself on that ;].
As for being shy, sometimes saying the least will get you the farthest :p.
I was browsing around, trying to get the feel of the community and who was here. I like being informed and knowing what I'm getting myself into ;].
Thank you guys :].

As exemplified from the above. :P. Heh. No, I prefer guys as friends over girls - I hate petty and catty things. And I basically just kind of retired from World of Warcraft, and seeing as how I was one of ... five? girls in my guild, with 40+ guys that were ... typical guys, I'm used to it :].
Caael, from what I've seen you're pretty funny and blunt, so maybe that's a good sign!

Now I feel stupid for not understanding. Slow day....sort of like Monday, considering I had a snow day yesterday, so excuse me.

Arr= hello/good morning/I agree
Garr= I'm going to attack you/ take this!/ It's time for fisticuffs and make no mistake!
Yarr= I am greatly excited about the prospect of that suggestion.
ye, yer, ye'll, yeve, yers= you, your, you'll, you've, yours
Aye aye!= I am in emphatic or otherwise in exhuberant agreement with your statement. Anyonym: "Say that again and I'll kill ye!" which indicates a denial of the truth of your statement.

I feel bad... for just being a girl cause you don't like having girls as friends. D:
as for Wow, I don't like it much. People can get addicted to it too easily, like my cousin....

I just meant in general :p. And yes, WoW is incredibly addicting, hence why I'm trying to stay away from it. It takes up more time than you realize and sooner or later it kicks you in the ass. I mean, I liked it, but it's also drama-filled, which I'm not fond of >.>.
And yes, I wasn't quite aware that much pirate lingo was in existence, please excuse my lack of knowledge, as you're clearly the leader of them all here. /bow.
