Ever hate it when certain websites are only compatible with Internet Explorer, but you're a diehard FireFox user?

By downloading this tab, with a single click, you can render any webpage in "IE mode". You can even have multiple tabs open (some running in just regular FF mode, and other tabs open as they would in IE, pretty cool).

(For more information, I suggest you click this link).

At any rate, this has proven to be one of my most versatile and useful extensions I've ever downloaded for FireFox, and I strongly recommend it for anyone.

hmm, I've never discovered a site which doesn't work in FF actually. But then, I don't visit much sites, and I honestly use IE more. Using IE now infact :(

Oh, I remember this. IIRC, the Maple Story website (when I used to play) was IE only. I'm not sure if the IE extension covered that, though.

Some parts of the Microsoft website are IE only, but apart from that I've not found one.

Well, according to the information provided, the IE tab is also useful for Web Developers, who would like to see how their webpage would look if it was running on IE.

Also, there are some pages that use crappy Microsoft "HTML" that looks bad in Firefox.

Yeah, I can definitely see the advantage there. Would be even better for Web developers if different tabs could relate to other browsers, and different versions of browsers as well. If they can code it so it shows in IE then I don't think it would be too hard to do other browsers or older versions of IE / Firefox.

My parents are still being stupid about Firefox, thinking that is not a trustworthy internet explorer. I told them to do research but they never did. So here I am, on IE7.

Maybe this can help bring up my argument again, because Firefox is so much better than IE.

And has anyone else noticed that everything new from Microsoft now has copied something else? Vista ripped off stuff from Mac OS X, IE7 ripped off Firefox, the Zune ripped off the iPod, Windows Media Center ripped off Apple's Front Row. It's kind of sad, actually.

Well, it's smart actually. Microsoft already dominates everything there except the MP3 player market, so to continue this, why not take away the only advantage your competitors have plus add your own? ^^

And how did the Zune rip off the iPod?

The Zune barely got off the ground in the first place.

Person 1: Hey, what MP3 you got there?
                      Person 2: Um...it's a Zune.

Back on topic, I had this extension for firefox before I was booted off the PC. I ohnestly didn't use it much. I've used Firefox for a while, and I personally prefer IE. It's better for testing my webpages anyway, and there's not a whole lot of things in firefox that really make it better for me.

Aw, geez, and here I was thinking that this would emulate IE in a FF tab. Turns out you need IE in the first place for it to work. And besides that, you need Windows as well. Not a problem for most o' ya, but it's a problem for me. :(

Good find, some sites appearances get messed up sometimes in FF. Particularly IGN and GameSpot. Thanks!
