Ah, how could I forget, that is the most vital part of freewebs, and pretty much all other web hosts. Make sure your homepage is set to "index" then then .html, .htm, .php, .asp or whatever.

ner...I've tried mostly all of the free web hosting links I could get my hands on...but I didn't really like any of em'....so If I had to choose, I'd put yahoo, that is if you can be able to work it out and wait, I hope by christmas my mom will let me upgrade to a domain...but I dunno, my moms kinda mean when it comes to free web hosting. :mellow: msn groups is just ew.. no layout, not gonna work. :)

Yahoo, tripod, geocities, angelfire, lycos are all crap, never ever use them. The best free web host for new web designers, or people who just want a site without learning the language, is freewebs. More experience people should use 100freewebspace/50free as they are really good, especially if you have ftp. Ninhost is what I use though, very nice!

I used bravenet for things like daily comics and hit counters on my ancient second site. I didn't like the service, although I've never tried the hosting so I can't really judge. But the ads look terrible, waay too big. You're better off using freewebs as the ad is a tiny little text strip, and your site isn't huge.

Every get tired of writing long style sheets? Maybe you have A LOT of different classes or IDs that have to be defined?

Get 000k.com...It has great Mysql databases and even scripts...You can do anything on there practically thanks to the cpanel. There are also domains and subdomains.
