Hallo thar.
I'm getting a $360 gift card for coles myer (big department store chain thingy in Aust.) and I was wondering what games I should look into getting.. I'm open to suggestions of anything that will run on a fairly low-mid-spec PC and open to all genres.
I'm open to the suggestion of WoW if you can provide me with a good reason why..
Dankusan.

LoTR Online recently lanched, maybe you can jump on the bandwagon early?
Command and Conquer 3. Try it out, and tell me how it goes?
Company of Heroes. Love that game. Will recommend it to anyone ^__^.

It's my opinion, but online games (lookin' atchoo MMORPGs) suck and I wouldn't recommend them anyway if you don't have the connection speed.
Disagreeing with Eugine on Company of Heroes, you should only get that when you have a warhorse computer, if you want to really enjoy it.
For a low-mid spec computer, get Civ IV and look into Sims 2. Take a look at Silverfall as well, download the demo and see how it runs/if you like it.

Get AoE3 (Warcheifs optional). I agree with WD on MMOs, stick to the free ones only.
Btw, If your comp can handle Rome Total War then get it. Its a couple years old, but addictive.

I already have a Wii, Zelda, and another game.
And I really want a 360, but they cost $600.

Maybe you should make a 360 fund, because it's getting harder and harder to get good PC games without a trojan warhorse computer. It can be done, buut...
You say you didn't like AOE3. What didn't you like about it? Did you just not like the type of game that it is? Because if you don't like RTS games you're disliking a genre that really sets PC gaming apart from console gaming.

No, I just didn't like all the history stuff.. It's too much based on real events and not enough around fun gameplay :S
And please remember this is AUSTRALIA we're talking about.. Everything costs twice - three times as much as it does in... Everywhere else..

Double post? For shame Lemontime, for shame...
What about S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl? I haven't played it, but have heard good things about the game.

It's not my opinion, it's just what I've heard from people. I've never played it.
