I was watching a clip the other day showing Jack and most of the characters walking along a beach. Jones says something about needing a crew, to which Jack replies 'Why would I trust any of you? Three of you have tried to kill me in the past. One of you succeeded.' *glances at Elizabeth*

Just thought I'd bring that up, I don't know if any of you have seen it or not. But it certainly does outline that Jack is a dead man walking.

I still think the original was the best, followed by the third. the problem is, if you don't see the second, you don't get most of what happens in the third. My only beef with Pirates 3 was some of the events were just too coincedental.

It's awesome, but quite a lot of plot twists at the end. They aren't really twists though, as you kinda expect them to happen

Not a bad film, but I'm just not a fan of Pirates of the Carribean and films in general. I didn't watch the second film, but my friend filled me in on what happened.

Anyhow, it's worth watching.

So yeah, it was pretty damn good. I'd say escout's ratings of the films are pretty accurate. There were indeed lots of plot twists, to the point it got kinda OMFG annoying. I'm still a little confused at a few parts but I got most of the film's story line. The ending surprised me.

A Pirates 4 could happen, but don't cross your fingers.

I have to admit, in a way I kind of liked the series more when, in the first movie, it was a bit more simple. OMFG, undead pirates!! There's your plot! In the next movies, it gets all confusing! OMFG, betrayals! Compasses! Hearts! Godesses! Undead monkey!!

If you haven't seen the film yet, I REALLY don't recommend you highlight this and instead just wait until the end of the credits to see. You've been warned. If you have seen the film and didn't wait until the end of the credits but want to know what it was, go ahead and highlight:

Will and Elizabeth have a kid! 10 years since Elizabeth and Will parted ways, you'll see Will and the Dutchman appearing in a green flash and heading towards the shore where Elizabeth and their kid are.

It was a good movie but confusing... I liked it though, expecially Davy Jones in that bucket ol' water on the beach. xD

Yeah, I usually wait 'till the end of the credits since there's usually something there, but I didn't this time. It's also something they probably wouldn't put in the DVD, unless you get the superextendeduberawesometriplebox set.

It's incredible that they could make such a great movie series out of such a crappy ride. I went to see the movie Friday and wasn't blown away, but was more than impressed by how they brought everything together.

The presentation and production values are (were) through the roof. That last naval battle had to be one of the most intense, fast-paced, and epic scenes in movie history, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Pirates fan.

Speaking of which, as a whole, the series is absolutely great, and Pirates 3 was a fine way to end the trilogy. One thing I disliked was the

whole Calypso thing... it was definitely a great plot point to find out that she was Davey Jones' former lover, but her "powers" being released was strange and underwhelming

But overall, I liked how all the loose plot ends were tied up nicely in one spectacular movie, especially in the last hour.

Count me in for a Pirates Trilogy DVD collection. :D

Norrington's demise -- really, what the heck was that? All the character development in the second, and then he's an admiral who gets skewered through with a wooden plank by Bootstrap. Some may have termed it a heroic ending, but that's definitely not what he deserved.

I did quite like the movie though, despite the sheer and utter lack of Norrington in the movie. That made me sad.

Sign me up for that Pirates trilogy uber-DVD comprendium; I'm getting it no matter what.
