I brought up this topic because I have found the most beautiful, awesome, brilliant game music ever.

The tunes for a puzzle game, or any game for that fact, are incredible. Fully orchestrated music which is just beautiful. You have to hear it to do it justice. Listen to it NOW.

Mutato Muzika is a musical genius. Aside from the Crash Bandicoot games, he also directs a lot of music for television and the big screen.

Id have to say that one of my favorite music pieces would be The music for Lake Hylia on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It just seems so peaceful to me yet so strong.

How about Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth? That had some really good music (even though I never played it, I have watched some Youtube videos)
Also, how about Halo: CE and Halo 2? And soon, Halo 3 will join the pack. :(
Lastly, there's Gears of War: so haunting, but so great (especially East Barricade Academy, AKA Locust Battle).

Some of the stuff from Final Fantasy is so memorable, like the music for Sephiroth. It's probably the best out there.

One Winged Angel is truly epic - did you ever hear the version that was done for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (the CG film)? It was an incredible hard rock/metal remix, and one part with the vocals is simply jaw-dropping.
