I'm starting up Final Fantasy III for the DS and I hate all of the main character's names. I came up with quite a few ideas. The problem? They're all seven letters long. I need some ideas for cool names that are six letters or less. Be creative!
BTW, I already came up with names for the girl and one of the guys. So that means two guys are left.

Maybe, but I was thinking more along the lines of non-traditional names. But for some reason I kinda like Samuel. I might end up using that anyway.

@GL: lol. It took me a long time to beat GS so those names are engraved in my brain. This is my first time playing any FF, so I was kinda hoping for something new.

The names I really wanted to use were Vladmir, Alastor, or Alucard. Each seven letters. *sigh*

I was flipping through the Chronicles of Narnia books and found two names that I liked: Aravis and Miraz. New problem: the other two names that I already picked out don't fit in. *slaps self in face*
In the games I play, I usually name the main character-guy Rocket. (Aravis, Miraz and Rocket?!?) I like Kefka, it works.
What about a girl's name? I thought of Zanne, but...

In my opinion comedy posh names beat mystic ones anyday. Still it's your choice, though I can't imagine a level 3 black mage being named Satis.

How about Elric? It's a good name, and I use it a lot for RPGs. It's an interesting name that isn't typical yet not out there.
