Max has always said that as long as people continue to come here, he'll keep GSS open, I've come here mindlessly for the last 3 years, why not the next 5? Although if people kept leaving, probably not, Spam Bots don't have the best conversations.

As long as the people who join in the future stay at our general age level then yes. If not, I'm not about to be visiting a forum ful of 13/14 year olds when I'm 20. But I also probably wouldn't stay if many of you left.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm not leaving these forums. I might end up inactive for some periods of time as work and other duties come into play, but I don't see how difficult it is to take ten minutes - just a small amount of time - every day, or even every week, and visit and just see how things are and post every now and then.

This is one of the best communities I've ever been a part of, do any of you realize just what it takes for an online one to continue into its fourth year? It's something "special" in a sense, and I'd never give that up, especially because I've gotten to know some great people here.

This is one of the few places on the net that actually has decent people on it. No one talks like people on MSN or Myspace do, they actually spell out their words. And this is one of the few places where you can actually have both serious and completely random and senseless conversations.
I pretty much agree with GL on this. If people stay/others come (as long as they're decent), I'll stay. ;)

Agreed with everything. I've got loads of obligations now and I've barely got any free time anymore, but I still find time to come here once a day or once every two days to post around a bit. I post in a smaller number of topics than I used to, but I still visit regularly.

The only thing that could make me leave is if all the active and good members were to leave at about the same time.

I'm not too sure. I took a 3 year hiatus and came back so who knows? I might take another and come back again. But in 5 years I'll have graduated, have a job, and hopefully be married. Like previously stated: I don't know if a 24 year old will fit in at a forum with 13/14 year olds.

I dont think this forum will be around in 5 years. The people on this forum barely talk about golden sun anymore, and in 5 years there will be less and less to talk about. Also a lot of people who are here now will leave gradually leading to this forum's demise.

Not so. If everyone's only talking about one thing, then sooner or later they'll get bored of it (which is pretty much what happened). But if people talk about a whole bunch of stuff, then there's more to discuss.
