Queen Mary 2 will soon be the largest ship in operation, but do you think it is smart decision?

Me think it was stupid, stupid. =)

To me a boat should just be for getting from A to B. I wouldn't want to have a holiday on there.

I don't see why they couldn't have just shaved off one or two inches in width from each cabin. That would've probably still allowed for it to fit through the Pannama.

Sure, you can make/do these amazing things, but do we really HAVE to?

Or they could just make he boat smaller, or use titainium, which is lighter and strong then steel, and thus allow for a bigger boat.

I like big cruise ship ideas. But not too big...

Went on a cruise in the pacific once, it was awesome, though being on a boat for 3-4 days straight without seeing land, kind of made me claustrophobic.

Though, being on the side that we should continue to improve ourselves, this is a good step. Bigger is better these days.

I live in a place with a lot of trees. There was this one time that I went to Arizona for I think 4 days. After a while got unhappy because there were practically no trees anywhere.

My point is, I'd probably die on a cruise, because there'd be no land OR trees. Unless there were trees on the boat. Hey, that'd actually be a cool idea.

There are, they are just fake trees.

I'm not a fan of boats. I'm not generally a big fan of the sea. One my greatest fears is death by drowning.

Titanium is softer than steel. That's why titanium handguns still have steel barrels. Maybe a titanium/steel alloy?
