              I want to:
              • lose 20-30 lbs
              • move up to rank #10 by the end of the year
              • finally finish my fanfic series
              • be more sociable and attached to people, not push them away
              • get my drivers license
              • start taking karate
              • go to the honors college dorm program this summer

              My hopes/wishes:
              • find true love again
              • become a better artist/author
              • find a best friend

hmm, I think I wanna get into sports more this year. It's either Football (soccer), Cricket or Tennis. Not professional, but just want to be good at it.
I'm not calling it a resolution though >>

Yeah! And I think new years resolutions are really important, even if you don't keep all of them, because it gives you a goal to work for. If you're not really working for something, then it's like you're just "living" and when you look back at the end of the year, you can't be satisfied that you accomplished anything that you wanted to. Sure, you might accomplish something but it's not as satisfying if it's not something you really intended to accomplish, y'know?

I think I'm not making any sense...maybe that's something I need to work on: Less rambling. XD

I can't be bothered with New Years Resolutions, for the simple reason that if I really want to change so badly, I'm not going wait until next year to do it. I'm starting now, and I'll be damned if I'm going to set limits for myself.

I'm going to have to warn you for that <_<

I am not blonde! I'm just-- oh wait, I am blonde. Well not blonde in the common sense department! And yes there is a department in my brain for common sense! It has little people working at a desks picking up brain phones saying, "hello, this is the common sense department, how may I help you?"

                                              God I'm strange.

Uh yeah, so back to my goal of getting a job. I know a place that would love to hire me, and I'd love to work. It's a bead store, and you get to sit around and make beads while people aren't asking for help. It sounds like a pretty rad job ;]

PDM, Split - one more time, you guys are getting warned.

I don't really have "resolutions" so much as they are general "promises" to myself. Nothing specific, but I want to stop living in the past... I've been missing my old friends and life since I've gone to college, so much that it really hinders me and gets in the way. I need to be able to accept the new life I have, to not be as reluctant in meeting new people and becoming close to them, and to just settle into this new phase of my life.

@Spam king: It does it does! I just gave my friends bracelets/earrings for late christmas presents and they loved them :3 Plus, you can make your own jewelry then sell it for 5 even 10 dollars more than it took to make it and turn it into a profit. My mom and I want to start our own jewelry business online.

And I agree with GL. I've been living in the past as far as relationships go, and I want to let go of it finally. The relationship has drained so much out of me, and it's time to move on because, honestly, it ended for a reason, and it's going to stay that way. I've been so closed up in terms of falling in love, and I haven't given my heart a chance to feel it again. This year, I'm going to let someone sweep me off my feet even at the risk of having my heart broken. It's better than living in the regret I felt all of last year.

It is, and I held that view for over a year now. But honestly, holding up the walls and keeping that feeling away gets tiring. I've finally come to yearn for the "butterflies in your stomach" kinda feeling when you first fall in love. The world is cold, but love can make it a warmer place.

Wow that was cheezy. But you get the point, right?

Oh yes, I understand fully. I think butterflies are missleading.

Just a few weeks ago, I had this huge crush on this girl cuz she's attractive. I had so much ways to ask her out, and how she's right one for me, and blah, blah; but when I got to know her for about a week it just vanished x.x

In any case, butterflies are great, you feel so good in your imaginary/fantasy world ^__^.

I guess rushing things is also a problem. Most people confuse infatuation and lust with love, and I think it is also a problem.
