Snow White Is A Total Fug. Because this is a place to post 'whatever's on your mind'.

Ah, Snow White. The Fairest of them all. The First of many.
God, I can't stand this chick.
In this post, I will be critiquing- Mostly ranting- about this girl, if she qualifies, because today, I was very annoyed by her. (Details unnecessary.)
Seriously, who has hair like that? My grandma has hair like that, actually. It's black, it doesn't go with her skintone at all.
Which, I mention, does she have the flu? She looks feverish.
Her eyes are soooo small. And her eyebrows are few and far between- They look fake, or cakeup'd together to DEATH. And her eyebrows only make them worse - They're REALLY THIN and they're like semicircles, and they aren't relaistic, their wide frame only brings out how small and misshapen and awful her eyes look.
Her nose- Little smudge of a ball on her face- doesn't help it. Who has a nose like that? Better it not be a like, REALLY BIG nose, but that thing is just... Obnoxious. It isn't noselike at all. She had to have had maaaany a nosejob. Srsly.
Her blue bodice doesn't do her well, the neckline makes her odd-shaped shoulders- made to look even MORE odd by her large pie-sleeves- look small and misshapen, and make her neck look HUGE. (A choker would do well here, to detract, and provide some elegance, yes?) Also, the dark blue color right by that bright light yellow skirt makes the light color of her skirt pop more, making her hips look HUGE. Which would work, if her chest weren't so detracted from by her piesleeves, because otherwise she would have looked balanced, like an hourglass figure. Which is nice.

"A reference for my dress design..."
Those sleeves bother me. Football player much? She has decent arms- which lead to disproportionate hands, but she has to go cap them with giant molding-blue PIES, destroy her shoulders, add to her top where it DOESN'T NEED to be, especially with that white collar-hood thing... Dracula much? It brings more attention to her hair- Guh.
Bringing my attention to that... Thing. On her head.
I had one like it when I was an infant, guys. 'Cept mine was pink.
And then my mom commandeered it to use to wash her face with... No problem by me.
She looks like a five year old at a birthday party with that thing. It's so annoying...
Know what? Her head is also kind of shaped like a pie. The rounded top and then the crust bulging out at each end.

I'll draw attention AWAY from her horrible, nasally voice pushed up to an INSUFFERABLE pitch, to simple, rather stupid lyrics, and I'll draw attention TO the frames in this picture.
Is there not a single one in here in which she either looks handicapped, or drunk?
See: 0:40, 0:45, 1:01 (mmm, finger...) 1:11, 1:20. There are more, kids, there are more.
Why does this come to mind? Because a reference was made today... Sorry if I've picked at anyone's childhood dreams or whatever.
(And yes, I've kept in mind, she probably is old enough at this point TO BE my grandmother. Poor piehead.)
I'll also note that like most of the early Disney Princesses, she's a total wuss and bow-down to male will... And a girl always looks her best cleaning, right? I suppose one could argue that she was in servitude to yet another woman... The queen. But once she went into the woods and crap, the dwarves allowed her to live there- Under the condition that she cooked and cleaned.
Hmmm...
EDIT: I just now noticed... Her eyes are different colors in both pictures. I'm not sure if they fluctuate in the movie or not- I think they were always brown.

Or she could be a real woman and use a heavy item to bust down the door herself. Honestly. She needs everyone to do things for her, and of course, she goes to live with the prince, and has a happily ever after. Yeah. That sure. How do you go from dancing with a person one night to wanting to marry them the next? You're an idiot if you marry a guy like that -.-;
I think this song just fits in so well. It's called fairytale, by Sara Barilles, and it talks about all the fairytale princesses a few years later after their "happily ever after"

Sleeping beauty comes in 3rd, mostly because from what I see, I don't like much, and what I DO see is very little, as she's asleep for half the movie.
I DO applaud the princesses of today- Pocahontas, Belle, Mulan, Acting as righteous, upstanding women in the world, standing strong against things as AWFUL as racism, proving to be as valuable and worthy as any great man in strength and intelligence, Making her OWN decisions in her life, love, protecting the ones she cares about, and knowing how to keep her man in check. :D
Hooray for them!

Though I agree, the movie was cool. Many colorful characters and interesting environments.

Alice in Wonderland was a good book, even if it was an acid trip.

So it makes sense here that the Disney characters replicate that. Snow White bakes pies for people. Cinderella cleans stuff. They both have to wait for the man to do the dirty work to save them because they're too timid and delicate to do it themselves due to the 50's idea of women.
So. Yeah. Just throwing that out there. I hate both characters for what it's worth. :P

Jenna, if there was such a thing as top friends on gssf, you'd be on there. Anti-female submission ftw!
If a man wants a sandwich, he can get off his lazy arse and go make one :P

Haro.
And to stay on topic... Snow White sucks. =D
And to follow the drifting... The author of Alice And Wonderland was a pedophile who wrote the story based on a girl he was preying after... (Whether or not he did anything to her, I'm not sure.)
I have no sources, it's here hearsay.

Which isn't to say that if a kid watches a television program, their imagination dies. But most parents stick their kids in front of a television screen as a means to shut them up for hoooours. And for those hours, a kid thinks of nothing but what the boob tube is filling their little mind with. Many parents don't bother to give kids a means to grow their minds in other ways (save for the eventual school-or-worthless routine), so... The aforementioned often does occur.
And to remain on topic!
