Some games are easy. Some games require no thought at all and can be completed in a few hours.
This is not the topic for them.
What games do you have that are hard? I bought recently bought Marvel vs Capcom 2 (yes the old yet reasonably expensive one) and I found it pretty hard to get into. Maybe it's because I'm not used to fighting games that don't have the word 'Tekken' in, but it just seems tough to me. And yet, it's addictive too, meaning that it's perfect for the arcade.

I meant to add Metal Slug to the list, though it does depend on where you play it. On the arcade, it's near impossible, but on a console with infinite continues, it may only take an hour or so.

Probably the Tomb Raiders for PS. Insanely difficult.

Wipeout Fusion for the PS2. It was insanely hard not to run out of armor going at 1000 MPH with 30 other spaceships.

Tomb Raider is just trial and error. For example, say you jumped a ledge onto another ledge, but it crumbled and you fell to your death, you just have to find another way around.

Anyway, IWBTG is the hardest game I've ever played. Period. Even on Normal (the easiest setting) it's insane.

A title for the DS called Scurge: Hive. The game itself is not overly hard, but the controls kinda suck. For a DS title, it makes pretty much zero use of the touch screen, and what little there is, can more easily be done with the L and R buttons.

If you're curious to the storyline, which is kind of interesting, it's sort of a non-Metroid, Metriod Fusion. A distress signal comes from a research facility studying an alien organism called the Scurge, and you are sent in to investigate and salvage any technology you can find within the facility. Right off the back, you get infected by the Scurge, so you have to fight against the clock between decontamination sites to lower the infection. Along the way, you gather new weapons and enhancements toyour armor, and fight some realy big bosses. Although there is no Ridley...yet.

Team Fortress is ****ing impossible to find a goddamn ****ing game.

And Starfox adventures I remember as being really hard.

Anyhow, yeah, Echoes was pretty difficult, but not even close as hard as everyone kept saying. I loved the difficulty, but my brother kept complaining... However, he noticed that I never find games difficult enough anymore, even if they actually are. I'm just that good at 'em.

Need I say more? I've beaten all the Zelda games that are currently out, and that is by far the hardest out of all of them, and the hardest game I've ever played.

Try commander keen 4 on hard. You cannot get past the dopefish, I swear.

I would say Trauma center for DS (that god damn triti!) as well as the final 7 diseases after you complete the game and Metroid for NES thats just hard but can be done XD
