I can't speak for when Agatio was chosen as I wasn't a moderator then myself. However, when I personally first became moderator (along with Forte, Kiku, and Raven), none of us had the highest post counts or were even in the top 15. Likewise, there are a few members with higher post counts than gsninja.

Anything else happens to be a coincidence and I assure you it was never a factor in our decisions. Devotion, respect, and rule-abiding traits are what we desire in potential candidates.
