Yup, its that time of the year again for us Californian High Schoolers. Last week marked the begining of the dreaded STAR exams. It's 2 down and 2 to go, with the Math section being done today. Lucky me, that just happens to be my weakest subject.
So, how many others have been unfortunate enough to begin their testing?
By the way, I have no idea what STAR stands for.

I'm actually collecting some kind of certificate tomorrow for passing some extra curricular course on molecular science and technology.
Next week, 2 week may break, and after that school trip to Rome...
Yeah, life is looking good.

Just finished the math section, and I can say with confidence that I trully ****** up. I might as well have marked every question as C, I would have gotten a better grade that way. I'll be amazed if I manage to score Basic.

Lol, STAR testing. Since I'm in my last year of high school, I don't have to take it, which means that I don't have to come to school until late morning.

OMG creepy I was about to make a topic like this. I see your STAR exam/any other exam you think is difficult and raise you 18 IB papers in 3 weeks.
...If that means nothing to you, get on your knees and thank the lord right now. Do it. Now. No jokes.
In closing; I'm ****ed. thank you.

Mock exams really do take the piss. I mean, there's a teacher strike tomorrow and people doing exams still have to ****ing come in. Even if they only have 1 exam first period, and another exam last period, they still have to stay for the whole bloody day. Luckily for me I only have an exam last period so I dont have to go to school until half 1 :(

Sorry, I'm sure you guys don't care but I'm kinda in constant panic/freakout mode so you will be hearing about this until may starts. Then I'll be gone to write them for a month. Unless I have my suicide party before then, in which case I'll be gone forever XD

STAR? Is that a standardized test of some sort?
Me? I have 2 AP tests less than 2 weeks from now: US History and English Language. Thankfully those DON'T count for a grade, it's just if I do well enough on them I don't have to take them in college. I don't have to take the final in those classes either.
But I still want to do really well!
And then tomorrow I have a huge presentation on Eleanor Roosevelt. Yay for procrastination! :(

I guess STAR stands for something like Standardized Testing And Reporting, but I like Laharl's definition better.
