Swear Filter

Generally, I think in just about all social network sites or online communities you have to be older than 13 to join anyway. So it's not like we or anybody who is going to join are kids. All I'm suggesting here is, can't we be less strict?
A lot of these words I hear on day time TV and in T rated (for people 13 years and older) video games. =/

anywho, yes, censoring is wrong because freedom of speech is important and because gssf is not north korea.
That being said this is an all ages forum so you guys have to see max's dilemma. You wouldn't swear infront of young children (or at least hopefully not), so unless he sets this so only people 13 and older can join then there's no guarantee little kids won't see it. Which would be immoral...or something.
Okay forget that, yeah censoring is dumb. Kids are gonna hear it, and if they're on the internet they're sure as hell gonna see it plenty.

Although I am in favour of having the old filters back.

I will need a full list compiled of exactly what you all agree on, however, since I'm getting different suggestions tossed around.
EDIT: Also, I want my five stars back. :P

No. I don't think anyone has tried it out, and yes it is an offensive term (... *cough*).
Wait for Dipset, I'm sure he'd find it.

Seriously.
And what's replaced with my screen name?
[EDIT] Toasty had better be "Awesome"
[EDIT 2] DANGIT!

Excessive profanity, racist or hate speech (of any kind, even in jest), or extremely graphic text will be removed and the post will be warned.
I realize most of you are friends and don't mind these type of words or phrases, but this is an open forum, to people of all ages.
Some members are young, who don't come to a Golden Sun fan-site to see profanity galore, and some members are older, who think needing to curse to get your point across makes you look stupid. :!:
The filter is there for a reason. Circumventing the filter for what ever reason (unless legitimate, and this will be looked at very carefully) will result in a warning.
Thank you.

At any rate, I'm closing this topic now. I'd prefer if people sent me their personal preferences by PM, or just to revert back to the old-fashioned way as PDM suggests.
