So there I was checking my offline Halo 3 achievements to see if I miss some when the screen goes blank. I restart only to see the red lights flashing in my face. Although it could be a sign that I should be doing other things rather than playing video games on my birthday. . .nah

    Oh yeah I'm back again

Sweet. A person I like is back. And bad luck on the 360. Happens to the best of me. I mean us.

Happy birthday anyway. I was gonna make a topic but I decided on the "**** it" option.

360's are still having this problem...
I don't care how good the 360 is, I'm not buying one until they fix that issue, I'd rather get a Ps3 at this point, and I like the 360 better!

they are still more likely to break than the ps3's tiny 0.002% chance.

You rap the 360 in some towels with nothing attached but the power cable for about 20 minutes. After that you take the towels off and let it cool down for about 20.

Techincally it's supposed to fix the solder or however you spell it. Worked for a good 3 days when I did it.

If the 360 is getting so hot that it's melting some of the solders, then the thing would blow up.

Wrapping it in towels would only make it worse, as the it would heat up the solders even more, causeing them to fail.

If it's a problem of overheating, yank the power chord as soon as the RRoD appears and let it sit for a day or two.

Or you could totally do the towel trick that works.
