Anyway, I limited my choice to the three in the poll because I believe in 25 years, countries who speak these language will have a huge impact on the world, and hence knowing one of these language will be even more important.
What do you guys think? And no, I'm not considering others. Other languages, except for Hindu are probably dieing, especially French. And I'm over the phase of wanting to learn Japanese simply to watch anime =)

As an Arabic speaker myself, I would be so inclined to choose that one. A non-Latin language would be immensely useful in the coming years, either that or Chinese.

Spanish is spoken throughout Latin America, some Caribbean countries, most South America countries, few European countries, and will be the second most spoken language in USA because of the immigrants.
China will be the most influencial country, second to USA, so I assume Chinese will be the second most important language soon. Chinese are multiplying like hell, and moving all around the world!

Learn Japanese. It's obviously the most useful.
....for obviously obvious reasons.

I think Spanish would be most useful just 'cause. I don't think Chinese will be THAT useful so quickly, but what do I know?

Same.
I have quite a few Mexican friends at school. My mom's been good friends with a Mexican for a few years now, and even my other [white] friends who know her think that she's cool.
I hate people who don't pay taxes and are here illegally. It just so happens that most of the people who fall under that category are Mexican. Doesn't mean I'm racist.

Proving you're not racist/whatever by bringing up an example or two of people you know are that race makes you look more racist.

If you plan on working in North America, and especially in areas like medicine and social work, take Spanish.
If you plan on getting into any other region, or focusing on business or economics, Chinese and Arabic will be immensely useful.

When my academy starts I'll be learning Italian. Why can't I stick to one language...

French is snobbish, therefore fun to talk.
Italian is just waving with your arms and saying "babidoobie"
As for French and romance, just sing Je t'aime and if they answer in French just go for " Je ne piche qui d'alle" (sp?) At least it means that you don't understand **** what they're saying.
