Piano piece, need help

So I'm taking an introductory piano class, something I've always wanted to learn. It's right around this time that we have to find a final piece to perfect and perform in front of class, and I really need help finding one.
I'm still very new to the piano, a novice, I'm just looking for a piece that I could play (and enjoy), and there is well over a month too to prepare and practice it.
Any suggestions? (oh, and video game pieces are great, I tried looking up a few, admittedly too advanced for me...)

What can you already play?
As I only play classical piano, I'd suggest Fur Elise, a relatively simple piece, but still impossible for a novice.
I'll go check my piano book and see if there's anything easy in it which actually sounds good as well.

I found Hedwig's theme from the Harry Potter movies. It's quite easy and short.
Found some pop music. (Elton John, Lionel Ritchie, City to City, Westlife, Vanessa Carlton...)

Hmm, well I can play a number of scales, 4/4 and 3/4 rhythms decently (can't quite work with eighths, a little too fast for me), and simple melodies. I'll see if I can find an example of what I am capable of playing and post it.
edit: oh that sounds interesting! I'll look it up and see.
edit 2: ahh!

Hedwig's theme, definitely a great one! thanks SS!

Any specific pieces of Chopin's?
And I've listened to it and I actually like Hedwig's theme very much, I would love to learn and perform it for class.
Just curious, any other suggestions out there?

Anything from Henry Mancini. They aren't overly advanced, but most of his pieces are great.
Specific suggestions would be Baby Elephant Walk, The Pink Panther theme, or the Charlie Brown theme.

Grand Valse Brilliante, Fantasie Impromptu or Revolutionary Etude. However these might be a bit too advanced at your stage. Raindrops prelude is relatively simple, iirc.

Funny that you mention FFX, I've looked up "To Zanarkand" and I absolutely loved it, but I've yet to find a piece that has it reasonably easy, which I'm embarrassed to say since my skill is still very much beginner level.
Is that what you're referring to, by any chance?

Canon is relatively easy for beginners, I remember learning it quite early on back in the days when I played piano.

I'm playing a piano piece for the band's next concert. It's "Take Five" and it's hella hard. I don't suggest it.
