If you really want to get to sleep sooner, take one or two pills of benedril a half hour before you intend to get into bed. You probably won't feel tired, but that's because it doesn't really kick in until you actually try to fall asleep. Once your head hits the pillow, you should start to feel drowsy. You'll probably wake up a little grogier though.
Don't worry, benedril's harmless (as long as you don't swallow a whole bottle). It's an anti-histamine.
[EDIT] Warm milk can be incredibly effective on some people. It's shown to promote the release of melatonin (the hormone that makes you sleepy) in your brain. Milk toast can work pretty well too. Though they work better on people with low metabolisms best, so they don't work on me very well.

It's weird, because it seems like the only way I can get into bed before midnight, is if I crash on the couch as soon as I get home. Other than that, I always seem to end up staying on the computer until at least 12:30. No matter how hard I try. D:

You won't like it, or even care, but my word, weed before bed knocks you out like a light.

Anyway, over the summer, I never got in bed before 2:30. Just curious, but how many times have you gotten into bed before midnight in the past two years?

Though when I go out during the day, instead of at night, I'm usually in bed before midnight, but never asleep.

But I'm also in bed a little earlier than you because school starts pretty early in the morning for me. Infact, I'm pretty much screwed now since I've stayed up so late.

'I don't get a decent amount of sleep. **** YEAH!'
Personally, I can't live without my sleep. Seriously if I only get 6 hours in a night, I can barely stay awake the next day.
If I'm struggling to get to sleep, I'll read for awhile then try again. Usually works for me.

It's not that I purpously stay up every noght. I just can't get myself into bed. It's a bad habbit.
