Lucky. I wish it snowed over here.

We should switch towns. I stopped enjoying snow when I learned it was ****ing cold.
Actually, I stopped enjoying it after we'd constantly get snow here, but it would always be off and on, so we'd either get the crappy powder that's no good for doing anything with (unless you're on a mountain), or there'd barely be anything there at all.
And only two or so weeks ago it was 60ish and raining. Just a week and a half ago it suddenly plumeted to 40 and below.

Our school district here isn't very leniant. It'd take a white-out for them to call off school for a day.

You see, I live in a desert oasis. A place that doesn't get very much rain.

I know I have asked before, but how far south were you? I am in the panhandle in a town called Crestview. It is sort of near Pensacola if you know where that is. Anyway it does occasionally get below freezing here. Very rarely though. We even have weeks when half the week is around 50 and the the second half is in the mid 80's. It is sometimes a bit ridiculous.

I lived in Ocalla (sp?) I'm pretty sure it's not in the panhandle. It's pretty close to the northern border.

Now you know how it's like to be British.
Almost.
Now you just have to replicate that for 364 more days.

It's great in summer because it's not too hot that you're sweating constantly, but not too cold that you have to wear a coat everywhere.
Plus London is about a 45 minute train journey from where I live ;)
