Another strange fact; one week exactly before his death, his children were allowed outside WIHOUT a mask. Rather odd.

I find it strange that two fairly well known people died today though.

The worst part about it, is that instead of covering the ludicrous new bill that Obama is trying to pass, all the news outlets are focused on MJ. It's pretty frikkin' annoying.

It was right around the time that the civilian death toll in Iraq went over 500,000, the refugees over 4 million. It did not receive a mention.
This will go on for a while.

Goddamn troll.
I think people saying horribly disrespectful comments about his death is so rude. I mean, I didn't cry, but the man was a legend. He defined an era of music and his recent years should not define his entire career as an artist. He was a creative genius, and the world will definitely have to deal with such a huge loss...
You never consider death as an option for people of Michael's caliber. Not until it happens at least.
Tbh, I think he was very sick and it wasn't something he was sharing with the public. People said that at his rehearsals he was acting erratic and not even showing up. I think stress was just building up.

Sure, he ended up a bit crazy in the end. But you can't deny he had a pretty big influence on music.

The coroner is unsure on what to put as the cause of MJ's death. He doesn't know whether to blame it on the sunshine, the moonlight, the good times or the boogie.
I hear he just beat it.
K i'm done for now.

I honestly think that yeah, he was a great musician, gave us lots of entertainment, but he also is just a man. Whenever I see a celebrity die, I'm not happy by any means, but I think its a good reminder to all the celebs out there that not even they can escape death. And they say "oh one less talent in the world". But in truth, there are many great people in this world who die every day, yet the ones who made it to holywood get all this attention and glory. Yes, we should honor him at his death but we shouldn't spend so much media coverage to the point where, like Riad said, cries from the rest of the world go ignored.

He revolutionized pop music. Yeah he was a little...weird, but people who knew him said he had a completely healthy relationship with his kids and was like any loving father. I think he was just sympathetic to younger kids in giving them a nice childhood because he never really had that himself. I really don't think he was a pedo.

So because he was famous and rich it doesnt matter if he is a peodphilic child molester? What disgusting and disrespectful people we are.
And I dont think it was down to stress or his age must have just been one of those things that builds up over time without you knowing. I mean look at Bob Dylan he has been doing live performences all his life and he isnt dead even at this age.

Very nice. But where are the zombies?
On a side note, apparently the reason he liked kids so much was because "They're the only ones who [tell me] the truth."

I guess 'Not Guilty' means nothing to you people.
I don't believe he did it.
I think it's just a few things that were blown out of proportion and since you'll never know if he WAS a child molester or not, it's not really fair to call him that now is it? :)
I didn't think so.

And for one of the cases the kid didn’t even show up, I doubt he will be remembered for being a pedophile but just because he is “The king of pop” doesn’t mean all the ****ed up **** he did didn’t happen.

Mkay, no offense? But I love you.
Be rational, guys. Not every male over the age of 30 who plays with a child that is not their own is a pedophile. Shocking, I know.

but in America, we DO have something called justice. It doesn't work 100 percent of the time, but is very rare actually that people get away with crimes like that. The only ones I can think of is the Lacy Peterson case and the case against OJ simpson-- murder, where the evidence can be hidden. In a case such as a child being molested, you have DNA testing, witnesses, even the child himself to come forth. Probably the reason the child didn't go is because he didn't want to convict an innocent man.
SO. I trust the judge and the jury to not convict a man who is innocent, and to convict a man who is guilty, so long as there is evidence to back the verdict. And if you didn't know, there was a ton of evidence that proved that Michael Jackson was innocent. JUST SAYING.

But that was my point.
That I don't think the mother was in it to bring the man who hurt her child (which i think he didn't :D) to justice. It's Michael ****ING Jackson. That's really all you have to say.

I Want You Back
Ben
Black or White - Shows how iconic he was in the 1990s. Much watch for anyone who thinks his debunked pedophilia will overshadow his true legacy.
Childhood - His most personal song.
LYRICS
Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
There are more, but my ultimate fav is of course...
Man In The Mirror ... Must listen. One of the best songs ever. Perfect.
Anyway, thank God it was NOT Taylor Swift who died yesterday. Two Taylor Swift albums [and an EP] is not enough. MJ made enough music.

And, read Drudge Report MJ coverage at the bottom.
Gotta admit TMZ did an excellent job yesterday. Made the "mainstream" media look outdated.

On a personal basis, I have to admit I've been more curious about the music and I've been looking back to see what I've missed. I still am a little taken aback by how much his death has brought about such grief and outpouring of emotions. It's not my place to judge how others react though.
(and just because it would be silly not to post it, here is the classic Thriller)

Just amazing.
I honestly recommend listening to his compilation album "The Essential Michael Jackson". It has his best songs. (Just finished listening Dirty Diana!)
Btw, you know you're awesome when the POTUS has to issue a statement
From what I researched [so correct me if I am wrong], the last time a sitting POTUS issued a statement on an entertainer was Jimmy Carter on Elvis.
According to his ex-Wife, Lisa Presley, MJ knew he would have died young.
He even wrote a song on what some people believed contributed to his death.

Btw, I am not a huge fan of MJ the man. I am just a fan of his music.
