If I get to pick pancakes with chocolate chips in them, then pancakes.
But if we're just going plain pancakes vs. plain waffles, then I pick waffles. =O

Crepes. Pancakes if I really must choose. It's hard to come across good waffles.

Crepes are indeed delicious. But this is a battle between the two heavy-hitters of the breakfast table.
And good waffles are easy to come by if you've got a waffle iron and know how to make 'em.
I mean, waffles have all those little ditches in them that are great at holding and absorbing the syrup, so they're usually not as dry as pancakes.
Plus, peanut butter tastes better on waffles imo.

My family's on their third one. The first two broke, and they were both pretty good quality models. The current one is my grandma's old one, and it's OLD.
They really don't make 'em like they used too.
Either way, the waffles are kind of thin, and it's hard to make them crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, but they still taste great with pb and syrup.

DO YA LIEK WAFFLES?
YA WE LIEK WAFFLES!
DO YA LIEK PANCAKES?
YA WE LIEK PANCAKES!
WAFFLES! <3 Pancakes are too thick--waffles are light and fluffy, and belgian waffles are especially good, or at least at the local breakfast/diner here.
I'd post an amazing flash video here, but I think I'm the only one who'd appreciate it.

We had a belgian style waffle maker. It was kinda spendy. It broke after like, 5 months.
Made some pretty freaking good waffles though.
