Hot on the tail of the North America release date release, the official Japanese website has updated and shows that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will be released in Japan on October 28 at a price of 4800 yen.

$57? Are DS games normally that expensive in Japan?
Anyway, I guess we'll be expecting a bunch of screenshots and pictures of the map, djinn, characters, etc. I'm just worried about accidentally encountering a spoiler and ruining the 6-year surprise.

Not me. I wanna play in English, thanks. ;)
I reeeeeally hope I don't see any big spoilers. Like kraden said, breaking the surprise after that long-ass wait...no thanks.

If by importing you mean downloading the JP ROM and putting it on my Acekard, then yes.
There would be some crazy piracy thingy on this game I reckon. I got an r4 but I'm still gonna wait till the english version and actually buy it. Is there any new info apart from date and price?

I'm pro flashcarts, but I will buy this one (English version, that is). After all these years Golden Sun still impresses me and it remains the best RPG series I have ever played. Least thing I could do is support the developers.

Is that about how much you think it will be in the US? I've been living under a rock and don't own a DS. Thank God I have a real job with a real salary so I can afford this shiz...
