I have mine set. permanently. i prefer the constant damage from high damage to the one off massive damage from a summon and the vunerability afterwards.

It matters at how soon you will be fighting.... When I got to the lighthouse and faught the ppl..... I knew I would fight and put them all on standby. It worked pritty well other than Mai needed to use wish alot and they where dead easily.

Keep your djinn set. The stat increases are way more valuble than summons.

Well, each time you set a djinni, your HP, PP, attack, defense, resistance, or speed stats will rise slightly.

ah ok, I knew that - I was just slightly confused for a moment there.

what about when you get get +90 earth etc after a summon - what does that actually do, and is it permanent?

I am not sure myself... but the effect defintely remains after one turn... it's not like increasing your attack, speed, etc., where the effects may last several rounds.
                    Sorry...

Raising your Elemental strength after a summon is like using Impact, or Guard, or Resist; the effects aren't permenant, but last for the duration of the battle (or until someone uses Break on you...whichever comes first).

Really? Interesting... I usually unleash stat-increasing Djinn, and the effects are, unfortunately, not permanent (but remain for quite a decent number of rounds).

definitely for the whole battle!? that's pretty cool - this game seems very well balanced when it comes to the pro and cons of what type of player you are

a pole? why not just buy one - seems like a silly thing to make - why would you want one anyways?

What I do always is set them when in a normal battle (non-boss battle)

Just attack Psyenergy and don't use them (keep them see for stats increase)

                                When in a boss battle

Keep them set at the start and then unleash them through the battle and summon them when possible

                                It works for me :)

that's exactly what I do. Have them set in normal battles. and have them set at the start of boss battles use them to raise my stats. then Summon them.

But if they're all set, how are you able to Summon?

And just one question... when you raise your elemental power after a Summon, does this also increase the power of corresponding attacking Djinn? For example, you summon Judgement with Isaac: Ragnorak (sp?) will of course do more damage, but will unleashing Flint also?

Andb y setting I mean setting them at the begin of a boss battle and then unleash and summon when you have 4 standby....

I'd imagine if you boost your fire power, your fire summons, Djinn and psyenergy will do more damage that's what i've found anyway.

It's true that works The higher your power in that element the stronger the summon.
