Bosses always have more HP then you but they always have a weaker attacks and defence. Why this?

so its contantly a chalenge for you in the game. if it was all the same amount of hp that you have, it wouldn't be hard. i mean think about it. say you're level 17 and so are the other three of you, against one guy whos a level 30. that won't be hard...also so the battles would take longer, giving you more experience as you go. thats what i think :)

as for the weaker attacks and defence, thats not always true

And also, supporting Lightningstar's belief, if a boss had stats (attack, defense, etc.), that were equal or better than yours, the battle would barey be beatable.

That would be great. Really hard battles. They are supposed to be bosses arn't they?

Some bosses DO have better stats than you. Especially if you're doing a LLG, or NE game, you are at a serious disadvatage. But the AI in GS isn't too good so you can beat them anyways.

The best AI in Golden sun I think Is the Gaia Dragon in TLA. The one in Gaia rock. He always goes for my weak charicter.

i think it's the jupiter adepts...they're weak in some areas (hp etc) but their psynergy and summons are super awesome powerful!!! or at least that's been my experience...

Very true!!Its just their defense is REALLY bad but they make up for that in psynergy!

yuh huh, and their summons! i'm replaying gs (for like the 7th time, lol) and thor does like twice as much damage as the rest...

Yeah!!Thor and Judgment!Judgment does second most then Meteor then Boreas.

yup :) :!: :!: :( thor rules!!! judgement is awesome too...neone notice how catastrophe is just like judgement 'cept darker and cooler??? oh, and as for boss battles, i find that the stats and stuff of the bosses are pretty good...i think they should be more of a challenge tho...with most of them it's just persistence, there's not really a threat...they shoudl have more super powerful bosses that you have to struggle to not get downed...does that make any sense???

Generally, the more HP a boss has , the harder it is. Nothing like a good challenging boss. I aspire to defeat these bosses, trophies include Dullahan, every weapon from FF7 onwards, Ozma and Gabriel Celesta and Eluria Queen.

Videogames wouldn't be fun if they didn't have challenging bosses.
