Echo djinn... If you have nothing to say, don't say it at all.

The Stone of Sages is a magical stone that can turn lead into gold, and can produce the drink of immortality! I don't think it was ever used in the Golden Age, though.

But is it possible the Lemurian Draught (think Babi) derived from this mystical potion? Naturally, it probably wasn't at its original capabilities, since it didn't provide Babi with immortality, but...

And yes, the Lemurian Drought might be made from the Stone of Sages.

This is pretty much all he says about the Stone...there aren't enough details for anyone to really tell what the Stone is.

If it's the Wise One, we'd all know by now. It's painfully obvious it isn't the Wise One.

I think it's the source of Alchemy itself. Think about it; the light from the lighthouses gathered at the peak of Mt. Aleph to form the Golden Sun and the Stone of Sages, or somethin' like that. Anyways, if that's accurate, then the Stone of Sages may very well be the essence of Alchemy, with the Golden Sun radiating its power... well, it's a hypothesis, and I guess will stay as that. You have to think of Weyard, though... perhaps it is the center of Weyard, re-energized by the Golden Sun. Maybe Weyard began to shrink because of the Stone of Sages's lack of power.... but who knows, right? It's just a guess, after all.

If the Stone of Sages formed on top of Mt. Aleph, that means Alex could get it if he survived instead of the Golden Sun because it passed, thus starting a GS3, right?

I think the stone of sages is a containment of concentrated, pure alchemy. Sortof like the Elemental Stars. Basically, because it's pure alchemy, the weilder can do whatever they wish, be it change anything to gold, gain immortallity or use it as a weapon to dominate the entire world ;).
