I was wondering what kind of items you could buy in Golden Sun World??

Can you buy weapons or just herbs and nuts or things like that?

Please tell me...

Well, I don't think I'll be able to answer your first question for at least another week, so how about people just answer your second question so we can get some ideas ourselves.

Special Items would be cool.
Maybe not equipible items (As there isn't 'battling') but maybe a special cloak(or other item) for completing a game x number of times. Things like that. That way, you can brag and say:

"I played the lucky medal game 1000 times! Hah! Beat that!"

Or something of the sort.

That would be cool to me.

but it would be cool to battle but that would probally take forever but special items that can be shown off to ppl if u play a special game for a while would be nice.

Anyhoo, maybe you could pick up hidden items like in GS and you could use them and something special happens. That'd be fun.

err, well, I agree with Nick's idea that you get special items if you complete certain challenges, mini-games, etc... of course, to add to that, I just think it should be a little more specific- for example, beating the Lucky Medal Game 100 times, then 500, etc.

I would like an item that if you are "the most behaved member" (if there is whisper mode type thing) you get the cloak ball for like 1 day and you can see what people are saying in whisper mode? I am very nosey :smile:

DLP, we have not decided on anything "for sure", not even some game mechanics. I know everyone is curious, but you all just are going to have to wait until release, because that will be the only time we will be sure about what will be in the game.

Because of highly annoying bug in the Map Editor, the release date has been pushed back just a little. Expect to read about major updates between now and next week and look out for a beta release on september 6th.

the definition of beta is a lot tighter than we're actually using it, but anyway, it roughly means the following:

- At least 90% of game elements and ideas implemented.
- Major bugs fixed.
- Interface design near completion.

A beta release is still a work in progress, don't forget that, so you'll encounter bugs and we hope you'll report them so we can fix them. I must also warn dial-up users in advance: we haven't really had the chance to optimize the game yet, so you might experience more or less lag, depending on the amount of users currently on-line. [Note: we actually haven't tested it out with a dial-up connection yet. When we do, the results are going to be posted right away]
