Ok, I did the password thing...the gold one :blink: And It said password ok, or accepted or whatever :-P Then the manual says that I am supposed to hit a to accept, or b to cancel....it never prompted me to do this...it just said password accepted, and the screen stayed like that...so I hit a, and it brought me to the character naming screen....and he had the defult name issac, so I renamed him to the name I had in GS1, and then it let me see the characters stat screen...and the stats all look correct :D So then I hit b, or start, and it takes me back to the character name screen, with his name now correct.....so I hit end, and it starts. Since it never prompted me to hit a, or b, and the b button did not even do anything. Does that mean I canceled it when I hit b to exit out of the stats and into the naming screen the 2nd time? or did I do it correctly? I just want to be sure my stats carried over, and not find out it didn't work after im half way through the game or something....

Although one time I messed up with the B button thing and I didn't transfer everything right. I was using a link cable, and I saved seconds before I realized in Contigo that it wasn't my party. Time was not one of my concerns, though, so I got to the Doom Dragon, found out I couldn't beat him, and started over. Anyway, the moral is:
Go to Champa as soon as possible, and if Feizhi shows up, you're good. If not, transfer data as soon as possible.

not the best advice if you didn't meet the conditionon the original to make Feizhi appear at Champa she won't appear and you won't know ifyour transfer has worked.

Thanks Ganon. And anyway, that's true, but I've never played Golden Sun without getting Force. Just don't have the balls to skip the fun Xian sequence.

=\ Meh, Force is a good psynergy, even though you use Force only once in GS2. ( I like using Force for fun and hit people with it. Even though I know they wont get hurt or anything =P)

I also find it difficult to tranfer data. It took me three trys just to get my data in. Iam not a patient guy so Iam sometimes quick to anger when something so simple is hard for me to do.
