    Golden Sun 3

    Chapter 1: Rains of Judgement
Shiink. Isaac ran the Sol Blade over the sharpening stone again. Though all the lighthouses were lit and the world had not been destroyed, Isaac still found himself unable to rest. Something just didn’t seem right. Maybe it was Alex disappearing with Mt. Aleph so suddenly. Or, The Wise One had promised a disaster would come if all four beacons were lit. Or, maybe it was just weird not to be traveling. He didn’t know. Somehow, he thought that life would have felt more natural, like it did before Saturos and Menardi stole the Elemental Stars.
Out of the corner of his eye, Isaac saw a bright ray of light streaming down from the sky. Isaac ran out of the small house with the Sol Blade in hand. The beam struck the Mayor’s house, sending fire and wood in every direction. Another beam came down, and destroyed the Inn. The Villagers were all screaming and running in different directions.
Isaac saw a three year old looking up at the sky as another beam shot straight at him. Isaac ran forward and pushed the boy out of the way, as Granite appeared and formed a barrier, deflecting the beam.
    “You ok?” Isaac asked.
The boy nodded and ran off.
    “Isaac!” Someone yelled.
Isaac turned and saw Felix running towards him.
Isaac didn’t have to ask to figure out Felix didn’t know what was going on either.
“Have you seen Garet or Jenna?” Isaac asked.
“No.” Felix answered, as he jumped forward to avoid another beam.
“But I doubt that they’re going to be staring up at the sky.” He added.
Isaac thought of the little boy. Jenna would probably stay and look for Felix. Garet, however, worried him. Three years ago, a Mighty Storm was triggered when Saturos and Menardi attempted to steal the Elemental stars. Garet had been trying to save his stuff when Isaac found him. He hoped he wouldn’t be doing something similar this time.
    “Alex.” Felix said suddenly.
Isaac looked up. Alex hadn’t been seen since the last lighthouse was lit, three months ago. True, he could still be alive. And if the Golden Sun was truly as powerful as The Wise One had told them, he would definitely be capable of creating a disaster like this. But Isaac couldn’t see a reason why Alex would suddenly come along and destroy Vault.
Another beam shot down and sent Isaac and Felix flying in opposite directions.
Isaac jumped back up. The clouds had formed a Hurricane-like shape, with a small circle in the middle. The Psynergy blasts had stopped falling.
Then, Slowly, a huge, black and red sword fell from the center of the clouds. It crashed into the ground, sending a shockwave through the ground. What was left of the village collapsed.
Following the sword, two figures appeared in the clouds, slowly drifting towards the ground. Isaac and Felix approached them, but Isaac motioned for Felix to stop.

Mystery Man: It is true. Mt. Aleph is gone.
Mystery Woman: Look at the way they run... To think that these pathetic souls have brought disaster to our world...
Mystery Man: You have to understand, they did it to save their world.
Mystery Woman: I know, but what’s that got to do with anything!?! We are here to prevent the others from returning!
Mystery Man: Alright. I’ll head east, towards Mars and Mercury. You go to Jupiter, then we’ll meet up at Venus. Okay?
    Mystery Woman: …..
Mystery Man: I’ll take that as a yes.

“This can’t be good.” Felix said.
Isaac raised the Sol Blade, and Felix unsheathed his Dark Sword.
    Isaac nodded.
Isaac and Felix jumped out from behind the rubble.
    “Odyssey!” Isaac yelled.
Three swords fell on top of the figures, knocking them both down.
    “Why you- The woman started.
    “Dragon Fume!” Yelled the man.
The huge Serpent shot out of his sword, and sent Felix several feet into the ground.
The Woman grabbed her staff and swung it at Isaac. He easily jumped over it, then sent the Sol Blade into her shoulder. It easily ripped through her clothing.
    “Pyroclasm.” The man said calmly.
Several fiery geysers flew out from the ground under Isaac, sending him high into the air. As the flames died out, Flint appeared in front of Isaac, melting onto the Sol Blade. Isaac landed behind the man, then slashed.
“Ah!” He stumbled a few feet.
Felix appeared in front of him, then slashed back at the man. This time, he blocked it.
Felix slashed again, but couldn’t hit the man. Isaac shot forward as the Sol Blade was engulfed in flames. He wasn’t sure if it would hit, but it was worth a shot. The Woman
casted Inferno, shoting flames in every direction. A few hit Isaac, but he didn’t stop.
Suddenly, beams of light appeared around the Man and Woman. Out of the corner of his eye, Isaac saw Garet and Jenna. The Sol Blade had been engulfed in bright red and orange flames. Isaac jumped and yelled,
    “MEGIDDO!!!”
Isaac felt the heat of the sun behind him. He swung the Sol Blade, then landed smoothly as the Sun fried the Mystery Man and Woman…
    “….And that’s that!” Garet said.
Suddenly, something the man and woman flew out of the smoke. For the first time, Isaac got a good look at them.
The man had pointy ears. His skin was blue, and his eyes were black and red. He had Silver hair, and was wearing black armor. He held a bloodstained sword, with an eye embedded in the hilt.
The woman had long, red hair, similar to Karst’s. She also had dark-tan skin. But what stuck out about her the most was her wings. They were long, and very scaly. They looked as if they had been torn in several places. She flapped them very slowly, just enough to keep herself suspended in the air. She held two identical staffs, they were both black, with fire and lava streaming down to the handle.
The two started chanting something, then everything became covered in darkness…

    Chapter 2: Contigo’s Mystery
A bright, purple light shot out of nowhere, nearly blinding Isaac. Slowly, the shadows lifted and land started to take shape again. The purple light was flowing from the Aerie atop Jupiter lighthouse. After being shrouded in dark, the light seemed even brighter then normal.
Isaac’s thoughts suddenly turned back to the two beings that had incinerated Vault. They had said something about Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Venus.
Jupiter Lighthouse stood before him. Was this what the two had been talking about?
Isaac started off towards Jupiter Lighthouse. This definitely had been his least favorite Lighthouse.
Isaac saw Contigo slowly approaching. The moon was shrouded in clouds, and the eerie glow of the Lighthouse Beacon gave Contigo a ghost-town like appearance.
The town held no trace of activity or movement. It was silent, the only sound was the wind whistling through the buildings, blowing sand a foot off the ground.
Isaac saw what he was looking for –A house raised slightly above the others. He hurried up the small hill and walked straight towards the door. He knocked on it hard.
    No answer.
    Isaac knocked again.
    “Ivan open the door.”
Isaac said. Ivan had to be there, Isaac could sense his Psynergy flowing throughout the house.
So why didn’t he just open the door?
    Isaac pushed the door open.
“Hey Ivan, Master Hamma, Either of you still alive?” Isaac asked the silence.
    “Please let the light-
Isaac heard a floorboard creak behind him, and turned suddenly.
    Something moved swiftly towards him.
    “Isaac?” Someone said.
Isaac looked behind him and saw Ivan walking toward him. Isaac looked back at the window. Whatever had been there was gone.
“What’s with the creepy shadow sneak thing?” Ivan asked.
“Why didn’t you just answer the door?” Isaac said.
    “Oh that… I uh… nevermind.” He said. “So… What’s up?”
Isaac closed his eyes. That was the question he’d been dreading.
    “Ok… We’re were in V-“
Isaac felt a sudden surge of Psynergy from Ivan.
When they had first met, Ivan had promised not to read his mind. He still did sometimes. This time, though, it didn’t really brother Isaac. It would save him the trouble of having to explain everything.
About ten seconds later, Ivan stopped.
    “Vault was destroyed?” Ivan said.
    Isaac nodded.
“……” Ivan started to say something, but stopped.
“We should hurry up and get to Jupiter Lighthouse.” Ivan said quickly.
They started towards the door, and Isaac stopped. Something about the house was different.
    “Ivan, where’s your sister?”
“She’s… Out at the moment.” Ivan said stiffly.
Leaving Contigo felt more natural now that Ivan was back. Maybe it was just because Isaac wasn’t the only thing that moved in the town this time. Still, something in Contigo seemed wrong. Something was out of place…
    Suddenly Isaac felt sick.
Go back. A voice told him.
Ivan stopped, too. He could feel something happening, too.
    Isaac and Ivan turned.
“Hamma!!!” Ivan yelled. He stormed back towards Contigo. Isaac ran after him.

    Chapter 3: Anemos Sanctum
“I’m not going to fail this time…” Isaac heard Ivan say quietly as they ran through the streets. “I’m going to win.”
Isaac didn’t have to think very hard about what Ivan was talking about. A few months ago, Isaac, Ivan, Garet, and a Mercury Adept named Mia had climbed Jupiter Lighthouse to stop Felix from lighting the beacon. They were almost to the top of the lighthouse when suddenly a bridge collapsed behind Ivan, sending Mia and Garet down the side of the Lighthouse. Agaito and Karst, to Mars Adepts from Prox who wanted revenge on Isaac for killing Karst’s sister Menardi, trigger the switch. Isaac and Ivan fought Karst and Agaito, and lost, nearly getting killed. Though Isaac had told Ivan that his concentration had been off the entire battle and Mia said it hadn’t matter because Felix showed up, Ivan still blamed himself for the incident.
That was over. But even though Agaito and Karst were dead, the world hadn’t been destroyed, and Isaac, Mia, and Garet has survived, Ivan still couldn’t forgive himself, no matter how much Isaac and Mia told him to forget about it.
Isaac saw the Teleport Symbol in the the town square, and realized that they didn’t have all the Djinn to open the gate. He hoped that it hadn’t closed. Ivan pulled out the Teleport Lapis, and Isaac and Ivan vanished.
The gate was still open. Isaac could feel Ivan’s fear. He hoped they weren’t too late. Ivan turned through the twisted paths and tunnels of the Anemos Sanctum, with Isaac following a few feet behind him.
Ivan slowed down. They were almost in the center of the sanctum.
“This is it.” Said Ivan, as he pulled out his Tisiphone Edge.
Isaac unsheathed the Sol Blade. He could hear Ivan’s heart pounding.
Ivan and Isaac entered the room.
It was completely black. Or, it was at first.
    “Spark Plasma!!!” Ivan yelled.
Bolts of Plasma flew in every direction, catching objects on fire and sending bright flashes of light through the room.
Ivan looked around the room, and spotted Hamma. She was lying on the ground, with blood and sweat all over her face. Ivan rushed over to her.
And then a skull appeared above him.
    “IVAN LOOK OUT!!!”
Two bloody swords flew out of the shadows and knocked Ivan into a wall.
Ivan was ready. He shot several bolts of lightning from his hand.
The monster was unaffected. It laughed hideously, and charged at Ivan, who barely had time to roll out of the way.
    Isaac saw his chance.
    “Bane!” He said.
The Djinn flashed around him several times, then disappeared. The Sol Blade turned green with Bane’s Venom.
Isaac slashed it in the middle of the neck, and-
There it was again. The shady figure he had seen in Ivan’s house stood before him, only visible by the flickering fires from Ivan’s attack.
    “What the?” Isaac thought.
He had let his guard down. The monster shot a blast of Ice at Isaac. The Icicles stabbed into him like daggers.
Isaac fell to his knees in Agony. He had been hit by Water Psynergy before, but nothing like that.
    “Tornado!”
Huge winds lifted the beast off it’s feet and flung it around.
    “Oddesey!”
The swords pierced into the monster and pinned it to the ground. Isaac pulled several Icicles out of his body as Ivan lurched forward towards Hamma. Then he casted Teleport.

    Chapter 4: Jupiter Lighthouse
Isaac felt himself being thrown against the teleport tile in the Contigo Plaza. A loud thump next to him indicated Ivan and Hamma had made it out, too.
“What the heck was that thing?” Ivan panted.
Isaac didn’t answer. Something about the monster had seemed very familiar, but he couldn’t quite place what it was.
    “Isaac?”
“…I don’t know. We should get Master Hamma to the Sanctum.” Isaac said
    quickly.
By this time, the night had left and the sun was starting to shine over the mountains that surrounded Jupiter Lighthouse. As Isaac and Ivan made their way through the village they could see people finally coming outside. They all watched Isaac and Ivan with surprised looks.
After what seemed to be about an hour, they reached the Sanctum. Ivan placed Master Hamma on the Healer’s alter.
“She’s going to be okay right?” Ivan asked worriedly.
The healer started to cast some magic, and Ivan let out a sigh of relief.
Isaac walked over to a nearby window. He could see the beacon of Jupiter Lighthouse shining brightly atop the aerie.
“Ivan, we need to go to the lighthouse.” He said finally.
    “But what abou- Ivan started.
“Master Hamma will be fine.” The priest said. “Although the two of you might should take a rest.” He added.
Isaac shook his head. “No. We don’t have time.” He said, and Ivan and him left the Sanctum.

    * * *

    “Almost there.” Ivan updated.
Jupiter Lighthouse towered high above them, about a mile away. Raw Psynergy was flowing steadily from the beacon, sending gusts of wind at them. The clouds were thicker overhead and several lightning bolts struck the Mountains behind the Lighthouse.
“Hey Isaac?” Ivan said suddenly. “You feel that?”
    “What?” Isaac asked him.
    “It’s getting warmer.” Ivan said.
He was right. Usually the area around Jupiter Lighthouse was cool, because of the strong winds.
Suddenly, the beacon of Jupiter Lighthouse flashed.
Ivan and Isaac looked at each other, then at the Lighthouse.
    “What the?” Ivan said.
The winds were getting heavier, making it hard to walk. Isaac and Ivan ran towards the Lighthouse, but they kept getting blown back by the winds.
“What’s happening?” Isaac yelled over the whirling storms.
“I don’t know, the wind has never been this bad before!” Came Ivan’s voice from somewhere beside him.
    “Hold on… Granite!!!” Isaac yelled.
A barrier formed around them, and the winds stopped pushing them back.
Isaac and Ivan pushed they’re way into the Lighthouse and Granite let down his barrier.
    “That,” Isaac declared, “Was fun.”
Ivan opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a loud rumble.
Isaac and Ivan exchanged looks. The rumbling started to get louder, and the heat from the Lighthouse was almost unbearable.
Then came a loud explosion. The Lighthouse shook viciously, throwing Isaac and Ivan around the hallway. Isaac managed to slip outside of the doorway. He looked up at the lighthouse.
Large cracks were appearing all over the base. The western tower had been completely knocked off, the winds were blowing it’s rubble around the Lighthouse. The Beacon’s light had changed from it’s usual calm purple to a fiery red.
Isaac slipped back into the Lighthouse.
“It’s collapsing!!!” He yelled at Ivan.
    “What? Could a Lighthouse really…
“We have to get to the beacon.” Isaac said. “I think I know what’s going on.”
“Isaac, do you really think the two beings you fought in Vault could destroy a Lighthouse?”
“Do you have any other ideas? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a Lighthouse spontaneously combusting!!!” He yelled.
Ivan nodded. The constant shaking of the lighthouse made it hard to climb. They were constantly thrown back down a staircase or to the side of the lighthouse wall by the shaking. Many of the walls, Angel Statues, and Psynergy Channels had collapsed, sending more rubble at them.
They finally reached the outside part of the lighthouse. The wind was even worse up at the Aerie, and the heat had become unbearable. Isaac managed to make out a dark, winged figure in front of the fiery beacon.
“It’s her!!!” Isaac yelled. “She was at Vault!!!”
    The woman turned.
“Oh great. Your still alive?” She said.
Isaac and Ivan drew their swords. The woman laughed. “Do you really think you can save this lighthouse? Look at it. It’s disintegrating. It’s collapsing. Jupiter Lighthouse is doomed.” She taunted.
Ivan gave her a questioning look.
“Even if,” She said as she drew her twin staffs, “You could beat me, Jupiter Lighthouse is still destroyed.” She said as she shot a Liquifier at Isaac. Isaac rolled out of the way as the stone were he had been standing was incinerated. Ivan casted Spark Plasma. Huge bolts flew down from the black skies above, striking all around the Lighthouse. None of them hit.
The woman laughed again. “Do you really think that two mortals like you could possibly stand against me?”
The beacon of the Lighthouse gave one last flash, then extinguished.
“Let these ruins be your graves!!!” The woman yelled as she flew off.
The Lighthouse started to lean. Isaac peered over the side, and saw a large crack had completely split the lighthouse in two. The Lighthouse shifted again, then the tower began to fall.
Isaac and Ivan tried to use their Psynergy to steady the tower portion, but it was to heavy.
    “Any ideas?” Ivan asked.
Isaac peered over the Lighthouse and took a deep breath. “We jump.” He said.
Ivan gave him a puzzled look, then slowly nodded.
“Use the tower as a ramp… Maybe we can clear the base.” Isaac said.
“Ok let’s go!” Ivan yelled as he flipped off the Aerie and landed on the Lighthouse wall.
Isaac followed him. They tried again to slow the Lighthouse with their Psynergy as they raced down the side of the tower. Luckily, the wind was pushing with them, instead of against them this time. That would make the jump easier.
‘This is still Suicidal.’ Isaac thought.
The Lighthouse base was drawing nearer, but Isaac was worried the tower would hit the Mountains behind them before they were over the base.
Isaac saw the Lighthouse tower ending. Isaac leaned forward slightly and pushed off the tower as his foot reached the crack. He saw the Lighthouse base pass under him as gravity pulled Ivan and him down towards the ground. The base was full of rubble, hitting it would mean instant death. Isaac hoped that Ivan and him would make it over.
Isaac saw the end of the base ahead, and he was about fifteen feet above the ground.
Isaac and Ivan used all their Psynergy trying to push themselves up. Isaac saw the gate of the lighthouse ahead… There was no way they would make it over it. They we going to die.

As stated above, I am very busy with other things. I am typing the Chapter whenever I have time, and I am hoping that I will get it out Friday Night. If the thread dies, it dies, I'll revive it with the next chapter. Don't spam here just to get the thread back up.

Here it is. Yes, I know it is short.

It has begun. The humans are weak… Mortals are not meant to hold the power of the Elements. Soon it will destroy him… Both of them… Alchemy… The Lighthouses are dying… They will soon see their mistakes… Prepare, mortals, for the Reign of Chaos!
                                                      ***

                                                      Chapter 5:
                                                      “Urk…”
Felix pulled his head out of the ground and spat out some snow. His hand immediately grasped his Darksword, he pulled it out as he scanned the surrounding area. He spotted a bright red ball of light a couple miles north of him. “The Mars Lighthouse?” He thought.
                                                      “Hello, Felix!”
Felix turned, and saw a bloody sword held two inches from his nose.
“You were at Vault.” Felix said calmly.
The man lowered his blade. “Ah, you remember me. I’m flattered.” He taunted.
The Darksword didn’t like that. Thousands of Bluish Silver souls screamed out of it, starting to shape a purple and black sword above them.
His eyes narrowed. “Where did you get that sword?” He asked Felix.
                                                      Felix said nothing.
“Die…Now…” The souls of the Darksword whispered, then the sword stabbed into the ground and exploded, sending Felix and the man flying in different directions.
Felix pulled himself up again. “Just which side are you on, anyway!?!” He thought furiously.
As the smoke cleared, Felix spotted a heat wave coming at him. He jumped to the side, but was still burned by the fire.
                                                      “Grand Gaia!”
The ground cracked and melted, blasts of fire and rock shot forth. The snow melted, and Felix heard the man let out a yell of Agony.
“It can’t be that easy…” Felix said quietly.
A wave of Psynergy exploded within the Gaia, sending Fire in every direction. Two massive wings spread through the smoke, the man flew swiftly through the smoke, hovering just above Felix.
“I must commend you, Felix. I have not used my wings in combat for quite a time.” He said, bowing his head. Felix answered by throwing a Ragnorok at him.
                                                      No effect.
                                                      “Goodbye, Felix.”
A small, black creature appeared in front of him, reminding Felix of a Djinni. The creature flashed a few times, then blasted a huge blanket of shadow. Felix felt thousands of daggers stabbing into his body, his Darksword hissed. Felix used his last ounce of Psynergy to create a small shield. He managed to hold it up until the shadow disappeared.
Felix panted heavily. “Ouch.” He spat several drops of blood out.
He looked around, wondering where the man had gone. Above him, he spotted hundreds of Winged Beings flying above him, towards Prox, and Mars Lighthouse.
Prox was in flames, Felix could hear the screams of the citizens, a black Aura flowed steadily around the town.
Felix picked up the Darksword and started towards Prox, as he blasted the beings above him with Stone Spires and Oddesey…

It was excellent! But please make the next one chapter longer.

Hey, maybe you should add a Subtitle to your story, both the games have one. I was thinking maybe something like Golden Sun: Reign of Chaos"

I thought about giving it a subtitle, but I couldn't think of one I liked. Reign of Chaos is cool but I think someone else already used it.

Wow, haven't updated this thread in awhile.

                                                                Chapter 6
The creatures spotted Felix. Several of them broke off, and dived towards him. Felix decapitated the first one, and swung his Darksword at it’s head like a baseball bat. It went hurling into another one, knocking it down to the ground.
These were nowhere near as powerful as the mystery duo back at Vault.
One of the beings stabbed a metal spear at Felix, who dodged toward the side. He grabbed the spear and spun it around, watching the creature hold on, seemingly desperately. He finally let go, and the winged being sailed through the air, finally releasing the spear. The spear bounced a few times, then finally strabbed through the being’s side, nailing it to the ground.
The creature wailed for a moment, squirming around on the bloody snow around it.
Something seemed abnormal about how it died.
                                                                WHAM!
Another creature appeared out of nowhere, whacking him with a weapon that seemed more of a chuck of metal then a mace or sword.
Felix was knocked back a few feet, but he quickly regained himself and slashed back. This one managed to block, but it’s weapon was very weak. The darksword sliced straight through the chunk of metal, the being had very little time to duck as the Darksword streaked at it.
Desperately, the creature threw the weapon’s useless handle at Felix and took off again. Felix easily dodged the handle and gathered his Psynergy.
                                                                “Ragnorok!”
At first the being seemed unaware of the massive flames headed that were heading towards it. Once it was high enough that it was sure it was out of the Darksword’s slashing range, it made a sort of face that Felix assumed was a taunt.
                                                                Felix simply raised his eyebrows.
Seconds later the creature was absorbed in fire, Felix saw it’s dark outline furiously clawing at the flames, shrieking.
It’s charred body dropped from the sky and made a cracking noise as it hit the ground. Felix’s Darksword was hissing again. He looked down at it, and whispered one word:
                                                                “Hungry?”

                                                                * * *

Felix started running again. Prox was in clear view now, Felix saw balls of fire shooting up at dark shapes darting around. “Could they really be… trying to destroy the Lighthouse?” Felix wondered. It seemed pointless to bring along so many troops, when at Vault, the mystery duo had clearly proved they were capable of the job.
Or was Felix overestimating his enemies? Isaac and Felix were the best swordsmen in all of Weyard, and they had stood no chance. He had too much pride to consider his foes weak.
And why attack Prox? It was an Adept town, sure, but with wings, the beings could climb the Lighthouse without even having to enter Prox.
They had another reason for being here, he knew. He just didn’t know what it was.
Towers of fire suddenly appeared before him. They arched over Prox and formed a giant Bubble of Psynergy.
“What the heck are they doing? Are they insane?” Felix cursed.
The Proxians, even with Psynergy flowing from the Mars Lighthouse, would never be able to keep a shield that large up for long. They were going to drain all of their Psynergy, and without Psynergy, they would stand no chance.
Not that Felix saw much hope for Prox or the Lighthouse, anyway.
Felix saw the creatures blast into the fiery bubble, trying to break it. They were unsuccessful. But if they couldn’t get in, neither could Felix.
And if Felix couldn’t get in, he couldn’t tell them they were idiots.
                                                                Prox had doomed itself.
                                                                Felix assessed his options.

                                                                1. He could attack the Bubble like a crazed barbarian with rabies trying and force himself in.

                                                                2. He could attack the army of winged beings and die a noble, although stupid, death.

                                                                3. He could sit on his butt and do absolutely nothing until the bubble came down itself.

He didn’t think he’d be able to force himself in, considering that ten meters to his right an army was being unsuccessful. But then again, it would seem rather pointless to go get killed.
But by the time the bubble went down, it would be to late to defend Prox. And, even though he’d be able to get to the Lighthouse, he would stand no chance of defending the Lighthouse alone.

                                                                Chapter 7
The Winged Beings decided for him. A large group swooped down at him, swinging maces, swords, and spears in every direction. Felix tried to block and dodge them all, but there were too many. He felt a sharp pain in his leg, looked down, and saw a black and red lance had stabbed straight through it, barely missing his other leg. He cursed at the wound, and unleashed a quick clay spire. It hit three of the enemies, but only one stayed down. The other two pulled the stalagmites out effortlessly and hurled it at him like a javelin. Felix barely dodged them.
Another mace came flying at him, Felix caught it in midair and threw it back at the beast. The thick spikes jabbed it’s into it’s head, it’s body twitched a few times, and then slumped over motionless. Two down.
Felix made a quick count of the remaining attackers. Five. Two of them lunged at him, he dodged them both, flipped backward, and pulled the mace out of the dead creature’s head. He motioned them forward. “Bring it!”
They did. All five charged at once, Felix swung the Darksword and the Mace but didn’t have time to see if it made contact, because the next second he was blasted into a rock by a searing beam.
He was barely up on his feet before they were on him again, a mace appeared a few centimeters away from his left ear and he was hit by another Searing Beam.
This time he was ready. “Oddesey!” he shouted. Felix was sent sailing through the air in a cataclysmic explosion was created as fire met earth.
Felix skidded in the ground about three meters before he stopped. He pulled his head out of the snow and ash, thinking he’d just gone temporarily deaf from the explosion. He looked around for the Winged creatures, and caught sight of Prox.
                                                                The bubble was gone.
Felix charged, pain shooting violently through his wounded leg. It was two late for Prox, but if there were still some Adepts left, by some miracle maybe they could save the Lighthouse. As he entered the city, he looked at all the carnage. It looked like a battlefield, all right. The snow was melted from all the fire Psynergy, the buildings were on fire and there were bodies everywhere.
                                                                The majority were Proxian bodies.
They were almost all dead. He could feel it.
                                                                WHAM!
Something slammed into his shoulder, leaving a large gash in his Stealth Armor. He turned, and saw two of his friends from earlier were back. Felix thrust his sword threw one, swung it around, and the creature flew off of the Darksword straight into the other, knocking them both down.
Felix picked up a Proxian Spear and stabbed it through both creatures, pinning them to the ground.
Turning around, he saw at least fifteen bodies ahead of him. But no living people. The thought gave him an eerie feeling, and he shuddered.
A bright flash from the Mars Lighthouse Aerie pulled Felix back into reality. He began running again. He had to get there before the Winged Beings did. Even if there was no hope for the lighthouse, he had to try and stop them.
Two more creatures appeared in front of him, but he didn’t bother fighting them. Instead he charged furiously at the two, knocking them over like bowling pins. He didn’t take the time to look and see if they were still following him.
More of them took shape ahead. Felix easily cut one in half while deleging a second. Three more of them appeared out of nowhere and struck at once, Felix blocked with his Darksword. The four blades met in mid swing, sparks flying off the edges. Felix pushed his blade with all his strength, and the other three swords were slung out of their masters hands. Felix slashed his sword three times, leaving nice pieces of gut staining the ground.
Felix looked back at the Lighthouse. Winged Beings were flying in circles around it, as if unsure whether it was safe to land or not. The Lighthouse’s Psynergy was overflowing. It had begun.
