percy: a drawing tablet not template. its a pad that hooks up your computer and comes with a pen, and you draw on the pad with the pen and it shows up on your comptuer...(i think i explained that right ^_^)

Thats what mine looks like. the thing in the bottom left hand corner of the tablet is a clear sheet so you can put a picture underneath it and trace it...i don't use that part though

They are interesting! ^_^
But it kinda looks like their faces are being sucked out of their head. Composition is a must. The positive; tite color range. Colors look atte (attractive to the eye). Pencils make them look like real sketches, gives em an anti steril look. Just work on composition a little.

There is one mistake on the halloween one, the hand is done wrong. There is no way the thumb could be there up front. I love the hair done on it and the costume

also the Jenna pic, you have got everything in proportion, just the placement is a bit dodgey. The head is a little too forward of the neck.

Otherwise really good, Sailor moon piccy in particular, that's perfect ^_^

How do you know wether the holloween one is done wrong. Both arms are declined and the elbows aren't shown so for all you know, that could be her left hand after all.

And like I said, the faces are being sucked from the head.

about hands, don't draw it like hands (yeh the whole draw what you see, not what you know), draw it like a polygon then once you've done that draw all the fingers in and stuff

hard hand gestures, just imitate it yourself( remembering to get the hands the right way round of course :( )

i used to sit in her room and draw sailor moon pics with her when i was nine or ten, and she would always talk to me and, i don't know...there was a point when i didn't have any friends, and she came through for me... :blink: we drove eachother nuts though...she doesn't live with me anymore, but we keep in touch as often as possible.

My scanner works fine, but for one thing, reducing the image size and its KB is hard to do without Microsoft PhotoEdit (as I like to call it).

I think I'm gonna do a concept design of my image on the internet ... just for you to look at.

The left leg, the hands (mainly the thumbs), and the right foot looks un-nearving. And that's why the composition is off.

Otherwise it looks great! The body itself isn't bad, and the shading is cool. Very dark pencil, gives it a crisp look. Great job!

Also the leg where the caf muscle is laying paralel to the floor, the foot is definitaly off. Ankles can't bend like that.

okay...well i realized this one has the signature "icy 04" well...this is my last day to upload it since tomarow is 05. also the next one will look exactly alike...i copied the original picture while it was still black and white, and i thought it kind of looked like chii from chobits. see?

Let's see ... the first one is definately your internet avatar. The Sailor Jupiter-style staff, and the Sheba-esque outfit give it away.

The second one is Chii, of course. But, it could also be seen as Lin.

though i haven't finished reading it, lind's Dawn to Dusk story is absolutely amazing! and i felt compelled to draw a picture of elle for some odd reason. the eyes were the most fun. i literly drew every band of color, fading from blue to red...then i cheated and used the soften tool and caused the colors to blur. i had alot of fun drawing this, and it took me FOREVER! :P ah well, i hope it looks like the character's suposed to.

i tried making a self portrait...in anime...o.o didn't turn out quite like me, but i what i want to focus on in this picture is the coloring, i just used the "color to target" tool brush, thats how i got the effect.

I wasn't talking about my art work. I gave lightningstar a request for a comic about me. She did comics about everyone else but me.
