http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/watc...odes/index.html is the link btw.
Be advised: Films are just plain evil, do not watch if under 9, or if you like animals.

It's so satifyingly disturbing!
EDIT-this should probably be in the entertainment section

Actually, I've seen a few Happy Tree Friends, and they are pretty creepy, but I think they're hilarious nonetheless. <_<

So ... what, are you 9-years old or something? No wonder! XD;
Anyway, this kind of thing is funny for me. I mean, if you look at Retarded Animal Babies, it's pretty much the same thing in comparison. Don't take it too hard and don't underestimate it's ability to make you laugh.

I walked home shivering. I'd played Perfect Dark when I was nine and Halo when I was 12, but I still walked home shivering after watching Happy Tree Friends. :P
It's very sick.

It's extremely violent, but tolerable to me for some reason.

Boy those shows seemed funny at the time. Then 7th grade came, we looked back, we saw the new 6th graders watching it, and we realized just how stupid and immature of humor it was. I dunno if it was because we were trying ot be cooler than 6th graders, but in the end, it did us a lot of good to reject that kind of humor. At least I think it did...

Happy Tree Friends is funny because the humor clashes with the drawing style and the name of the show. Also because it's so very random and unexpected. Just because it's dark (in some ways) or "gross" doesn't mean you should disregard it.
It's understandable that you stoped liking it when you saw the previous grade of children watching it, and you're right - it is a way to separate yourself from them, to say you've moved on, while they're left back. Still, I say you give it (and other things like it) another, earnest, chance.
/speech :P

If the bullies laugh when they pick on kids, should I laugh too?
If the war maniac laughs when he's shooting his opponents, should I laugh too?
If the Nazis laughed when they killed the Jews, should I laugh too?
The awnser is no. No. No. No. There are some kinds of "humor" that are just not funny. Would you honestly enjoy yourself hurting others, if everyone else did? No. When I stopped watching Happy Tree Friends, I not only lost interest in it, I realized the horror of it's so called "humor". I no longer consider HTF to be funny, and I don't think I'll find humor like that funny ever again. Maybe, but probably not.

Bullies, war maniacs and Nazi's find those things funny, you're not either of them so obviously you don't understand their humor, or why they find it funny. Everybody finds different things funny, and there is no such thing as perfect humor.
