[Golden Legacy]

Hey Everyone!
I just love to read Fanfiction regarding Golden Sun (ESPECIALLY Mud and Flameshipping ^__^). Yet, I've read many fanfics that mention a place called Tartarus supposedly near Prox. a terrible place, unlike the miserable and grieving village...
Does anybody know where this came from? Was it EVER mentioned in either game? Or am I just being Paranoid?

Yes, you are getting paranoid. It's from fanfictions!

Although, it might be a town on the other side of the black rift. This isn't fact, but a theory. Another land that's on the other side of the rift is fact, however.

ummm... tartarus is something like underground or something... ummm... like where hades lives... ;)

theres a tartarus axe in gs2, it sucks blood from the opponent... XD thats the closest relation to golden sun...

I doubt it. If it's from a fanfiction that is... but since it's in GS2, I guess it might.

Okay. I give in. I wrote a fanfiction that speaks of Tartarus, far to the north of Prox, across the Great Rift, which is actually the River Styx. It's where the Pluto Lighthouse is, home of the Dark Adepts.

^_^ Oh, and there is another land across the Great Rift, aka River Styx. Fact is that it will be in GS3 or a later Book, seeing as there is going to be 7 or 8 Books in the series.

Golden Legacy, there is quite a lot of Mudchipping and Flamechipping fanfictions on Fanfiction.Net. :joy:

My, Lord of the Morning, you have quite a few ideas! I just enjoy reading some fanfics especially, yes, on Fanfiction.net. My favorite author is Midnight C...

Yes. Plus, there are only 4 element things. Venus(earth, gaia), Mars(Fire, Dragon[think samurai]), Jupiter(wind,lightning), Mercury(water, Ice). What would the 5th be for? Geez.

anyways, i don't read much fanfics, only really good ones, and most of them have to be dutch.

lol, i guess it's more popular than i thought it would be. This topic is turning out to be more about fanfics and the like, but ok ^_^

well, anyway, I would strongly recommend anyone to read Midnight C's fanfics on Fanfiction.net. they're excellent (and Tartarus plays a huge role in one, i think in Adrift in Despair) where Mia is kidnapped and send to a prison in Tartarus... and Isaac saves her (Mudshipping, yay)
Echoes of Light covers Mars Lighthouse until the end, and Midnight is continuing past the end of the GS series, if anybody's interested...

Anyways, I like Fanfictions for game with HUGE unanswered questions. Like FInal Fantasy Tactics. It's more, what word am I looking for?... Exciting than others.

Yeah me too Fanfics are pretty good because users who played the game could respond to other people what they felt happen so we can really jump to a conclusion of what happened.

Sometimes they make the dumbest things though. One fanfic I read for FFT said that Ramza's father faked his death... That's what I call stupid.

Sorry about saying FACT IS. And also sorry for triple posting. (I can't find the edit option!!!) Anyway, Fanfiction is awesome because you can say anything in it that you want for a story (as long as it isn't a lemon, which is just disgusting) and the story doesn't have to coexist with the plot of the game, even though it may.
Tartarus is in my fanfiction, if I ever get to the time to post enough to get to it.
Sorry for any terrible mistakes a newbie to forums like me makes in error :P

the place that is even lower than the Underworld, where beasts of demonic proportions come from. pretty much the monotheistic view of "hell"

I think Tartarus is the Underworld... there is either that gloomy afterlife, or the Elysian fields (spelling?) where those of pure and noble hearts were allowed to live in harmony.

That's right! That's why I write fanfiction... you can say/write about anything really... even lemons, as long as they make sense. You wouldn't put Isaac with a random Valean or something like that.

Hey, genius, how about you read before you speak! If you would have read the posts, you would've seen they said that the Pluto Lighthouse is hte home of DARK adepts! D.A.R.K! Stupid, it would be DARK! Maybe there will be Tartarus across the River Styx! Maybe there will be A Light and DARK Lighthouse. If you play GS2 you'll notice one of the summons is Charon, the Ferrymen of River Styx!
Duh! I'm not saying I believe in the Pluto Lighthouse and River Styx being in the game, but I am saying that it's COMPLETELY POSSIBLE!!!!!

Oh, and about the " they would need to light 5", maybe it IS lit, and maybe thats a quest in GS3. Maybe you will need to put the Pluto Lighthouse out and maybe light the Light ( since I think of no name for it) Lighthouse. Think about it. It's a GAME, anything is possibly as long as it can fit the storyline, which I see nothing preventing these thoughts from the game.

Anyways, Someone mention earlier that the Rift thingy symbolizes the River Styx, and at first i thought nah, but then when you think about it, it could, and maybe the other land thats across this gap could be called Tartarus, where people dread to go( kinda like an underworld).

those r my ideas about it.
