    Please I really need help.
My Lost Age Team is at level 34 (with Sol Blade) and the Golden Sun Team at level 50 and I can't beat him! Please give me some tips.

Whenever Guardian (Green) Ball comes use a strong Djinn eg. Flint, on it.
Wait 'til all of those balls are gone then summon like hell.
Also, Refresh Balls (Blue; heal Star Magician) and Mine Balls (Red; cause poo loads of damage) can be annoying. I usually just ignore the Lightning (Purple; weakish Psynergy) Balls.

Refresh balls are blue, guardian balls are green Dog. And as for strategy, kill most or all of the balls he has around him, then summon whatever you have while he's replenishing them because I can guarantee that he will replace at least one before attacking.

Heh, I just have to say it, you beat Star Magician by beating his balls ;)

Anyways, wait until he gets four ThunderBalls and then just cast resist (full party) and you should be fine.

I suggest you have 3 attackers once you do this as it's painfully easy.

Well, for a start, use multi-hit psy or summons with the big cursor on the magician. Then, you will kill both the balls and the magician. He has around 7000 hp. Use your'e GS party, as they are at lvl 50, and stronger. Give issac the sol blade. Use any fire summons (Daedalus ) but not water ( Eclipse). Use fire attacks and finish him

Don't summon if the Guardian Ball is present. Don't summon with characters who will attack after the Magicians, as if he summons a Guardian Ball they will do little damage and waste Djinni. Kill the Refresh Balls whenever they show up. Also, sometimes you can narrow his balls down to just Thunder/Anger. Although you will take heavy damage you will have 8 party members, 5 of which can heal in their base classes, so you should survive.

The balls you have to aim for first are the Guardian Balls and the Refresh Balls. Then, take out the Anger Balls, as they can deal a good amount of damage, but ignore the Thunder Balls-they stink.

I recomend that you attack any Guardian or Refresh balls as soon as they appear, for they can easily ruin the battle and put it on the Star Magician's favor. Refresh Balls or weak against Water, and Guardian Balls against Wind. But be warned, Guardians balls have decent defense, so I recomend you use something like Oddysey on 'em. Or if you have the Excalibur, Legend, its wind. Plus, use any psyenergy in the Wish or Aura series almost every turn so your allies recover any damage done to them. If just Thunder or Anger balls are left, concetrate all psyenergy attack power on the Star Magician, but beware of the Anger balls and any tricks up the Magician's sleeves, such as cloning balls.

Wow, thanks! I was having a lot of trouble defeating the Star Magician on my previous game; maybe it's because I didn't transfer my data. I started a new one and transferred it, but I haven't taken a shot at the Star Magician yet. Reading these tips has really helped!

I beat him the first time using the following strategy:
In your primary lineup, you should have Sheba, Ivan, Picard, and Mia. The must all have the correct element of djinn. You'll probably want to use Sheba and Picard for attacking his balls, Ivan for unleashing djinn, and Mia for healing. If you don't have high attack, use djinn instead of weapons. Every turn, you'll want to use stat enhancing djinn to boost your resistance, raise your defence, etc. You'll beat him really, really fast. I was surprised to find this technique so effective. But remember: Only use Felix, Jenna, Garet, and Isaac if the other team gets killed off. Try to keep your first team alive as long as possible.
