Well, I did something to test if we had word filters. I typed a random cursewird in what would be a post and clicked the Preview Post button to see how it would turn out, but ya know what I found? I found we didn't have word filters, and if we don't have them, Flamers can easily insult the heck out of other members and there are young ones here that may get exposed to that kind of language.

As soon as someone swears, they can get their IP banned, and thats the end of them. No proper member would do that, but I agree, random flamers would.

Yeah, but still, if someone DOES curse, we have to block the word because there are young people like me here!

Well, what if there's an 8 year old here?

Eh I guess so. Best to ask Nick as Max is always pressed for time or something like that.

I assume the reason we never had a word filter is because we have moderators who are frequently on here and can delete a post with swearing almost instantly.

Also, swearing is against the forum rules, so if someone swears repeatedly on purpose, they can be punished easily.

If you really want a basic word filter, I can do it.
