Ugh! I think it took me about 3-4 hours to beat that nasty rock! :) I mean COME ON! First of all the outside is long enough! I was so happy I beat Air's rock (Outside) only to find that the inside was even LONGER :D !!! Geez! The random battles didn't help much either! Actually come to think of it... THE RANDOM BATTLES DIDN'T help at all! I even had to go use a walkthrough that had wrong directions! It told me to go east when I was supposed to go west! (That guy didn't know his directions!) Finally I used GSS's Walkthrough and it worked! (That's right gamefaqs.com GSS is better!)

Air's Rock in my opinion is the most annoying of the Rocks and I hate it.

Aqua rock is still a while off. You still need the boat to get there, and even so, i would go to Yallam first, then Aqua rock. And it's eviler then Airs, but Gaia is easy, and Magma is Semi-hard.

Same, I mean why so many battles? That rock is supposed to be Sacred or something and there are monsters inside? How did they get inside anyways? The door is like sealed! Same with Sol Sanctum is GS1! I probably battle more on Airs rock from traveling from one room to the other than on the world map from traveling to Osenia to Gondowan! I mean I battled around sixty-five Million times on Air's Rock!

you have my almost total sympathy here - it DOES take forever first time round - its also very demoralising when you get inside and think "yeah i did it!!!" only to have to go through an even more annoying section. However, your levels will be pretty good now at least and it is very well designed. Its tricky and takes patience but im sure that once you play the game through again, you'll appreciate it more.

Aires ROCK is cool I love that rock, but I found Aqua rock Ten TIMES COOLER, especially with the puzzles of the raindrops.

It was OK, but I really didn't like all the backtracking needed just to get into the main part of Air's Rock.

Im sorry but I just find alot of puzzles fun and easy :agitated:, I am lucky with these games, for example The old Zelda for gameboy color, I beat it in 2 days with everything!!!

Airs rock I beat in like 1 day I just am lucky finding out puzzles or I just do a thoral walk through each room as I go through everywhere therefore not to miss a thing :D

but it goes quick if u read everything do everything and sometimes when you end up at a dead end, backtrack to the beginning and start again.
Goes faster than circling 3 or 4 rooms looking for a way out.

seriously though, the sense of accomplishment when completing it was enough justification for it to exist for me. The only thing that dissappointed me was that it didnt have a boss battle.

I know! Long dungeons or important areas ALWAYS have boss battles! That's the rule of RPG's!

lol, its not the rule! but 1 person started it so they all do it :agitated: I want to buy a super hard RPG, I have been looking and Golden sun seems to be the hardest, Fable i beat in 20hours OMG less then half the time of a gba game, Console RPG'S ARE horrible, KOTOR, 40hours to beat still not the 50 hours of Golden sun, not one RPG i have played besides the ones that never end because they are online or udated 24-7 have not lasted even close to what golden sun has lasted. golden sun a total of 100hours for both versions!

I really thing Airs rock would be more enjoyable if it had one as...well its possible that it doesnt feel like you've acheived anything to a lot of people cos it just kinda ends.

But Magma Rock was more annoying... and the staues that attaqcked you in Gaia Rock were far more scary... :P

I think it was a little too hard, I mean, it was harder than Jupiter Lighthouse! The lighthouses were meant to be the most difficult places in the game, but Airs Rock is more difficult. What's up with that?

:P The worst part about Air's Rock is that it just wouldn't end. There were like 3 times I thought I'd beat it before I actually did. :) Aqua Rock is pretty bad, but I'd say Air's Rock is worse, topping even the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Aqua Rock was nothing compared to Air's Rock. Air's Rock was long, annoying, and time-consuming. Aqua Rock was easy, however, IMO.

Well, Air's Rock is pretty easy for me. Aqua rock interior is easy to get lost in...so its a bit frustrating to get through @_@ But Magma Rock is OK, not easy, yet not hard, and Gaia Rock is a peace o' cake for me.

Meh, its easy for me, its hard at first, but once you find the Whirwind stones at the beggining, you can easily get throught that and IMO, the rest of it is easier. Its just the beginning thats slightly hard.

The music was S*** but the puzzles were nice and you can like fly around with te whirlwnds!! There is no way it is as bad as jupiter LH. It had decent items for the beggining of the game although you know that chest where you need piers to freeze the puddle to jump to it? Well I know what is inside it!

Airs rock is my most hated part of the game. Aqua rock is still nice, but first time thorugh i got really lost toward the end :huh:.

I also dislike Magma Rock, very boring.

I found the dungeons in TLA to be very boring actually. Once you start doing the whole rock thing it gets bad. GS at least had a purpose to the dungeons. All you do in TLA is go searching for more psynergy *yawn*.

JL was cool, I just don't like the music. Once you activate everything the music should get more exciting.

I think they should have been more creative. Maybe a forrest instead of gaia rock, keep the airs rock the same, and make aqua rock some nifty warped water land thing on gaia falls (like, you actually go into a cave behind the falls). That would make them more interesting.

I enjoyed Air's Rock. it was certainly the most challenging rock, but I enjoy a good challenge, and the puzzles where very good. it is actually my favorite out of the four.

Air's rock is frustrating everytime I play the game. The maze outside is annoying, and once you get inside, you're SO relieved that you don't have to do that again, but then there's the matter of the stone faces that blow whirlwinds, and it just gets so confusing. Gah...I hated all the rocks, but I think Air's was probably the worst. It lists right up there with Ankhol Ruins. I mean, the LEAST that they could've done was play some decent MUSIC in the background.

its was a big maze after another and You have to keep throwing wind and stuff and just when you think your done it gives you a whole new series of rooms for to to go through.. and you have to go back and find that stone tablet

Me too! :angry: I got so mad at that Air's Rock with the stupid Emu's. The first time I went to that godforsaken place it took me 2 hours (game time). :angry:

Although, if it wasn't for Air's Rock I would have never found GSSF.

I'm still pissed off at it though. :angry:
