Well, I have noticed that the max amount of attachment space is 1 MB, and yet sometimes, I notice that some attachments have a size that is more than 1 MB. How is this possible?

Maybe mods and admins have increased attachments size.

        hmm...wierd.

Show me some of the posts with the large attachment sizes, and I might be able to explain why. As new as I am to this forum, I am not new to forums in general.

And Gardna, click here;it is proof that the attachment size is only 1 MB.

Well, Gardna could be right, but anyway Nobody...look at Silo's 'Random sound files' thread in SPAM, and you'll see what I mean. But, he posted them when he was a mod, which can be proof that Gardna's guess is correct.

Mods/Admin have a much greater attachment file size limit.

And Silo was a mod. so he could've uploaded when his limit was increased.

If you have something important to upload that is greater than 1MB, PM me/IM me and I can upload it for you.

However, if it's just lots of random pictures/movies, use these:

            www.imageshack.us/www.photobucket.com - Pictures
            www.putfile.com - Videos/Flash/Images (10MB videos)

Well, that sounds like a generous offer Nick, even though I don't need it as of right now, but thanks anyway.
Well, since my question was answered, can you please close this topic after you tell me the attachment size limit of Mods/Admins? Just out of curiosity.

Somewhere greater than 5MB per person.
