What would happen if you where in the spam forum and you just created like i dunno 20 topics for no good reason. Would that be something worth a warning?

That is precisely the problem with the Spam forum. There are all these useless topics constantly being created, and it has been a major, if not the most important, factor in degrading GSSF, and causing members to leave and such.

If a member did create twenty such topics all within the same timespan, then a verbal warning would be given; those topics would probably be pruned, and if it continues, the memebr would receive a warning.

However, I feel it is more appropriate to directly warn a member rather than go easy... but that is simply my opinion.

Yes, creating multiple topics with or without a reason is grounds for spamming. If you have something to say, group your ideas and/or questions. If they are unentirely related, wait a bit between posts.

Shouldn't it be in the Topic Creation rules then? I only saw the rule about posting extra long.

not all rules need to be given, some are just ways you should behave, and they don't need to be said over and over again, if you don't like to spam then just don't go to the spam forums, it's as easy as that.

People SHOULD just learn common sense and know how and how not to post. The reality is that a lot of people are new to forums and not so well learned in this area. All we can really do is point them in the right direction, and hope they do. I know I did, another good example is PDM.

If you would as you say post 20 new topics int hte spam forums, people might start, well, not liking you for bumping some of their topics into the second page, I made me mad at someone who did that at WooHoo.
