i really cant believe someone ACTUALLY voted garet/sheba. they are just too diferent. and what i really cant believe is that THREE people actually voted Isaac/Ivan. Anyhow, here's what I think the relationships might be if Camelot should decide to make GS3 (I really hope so) and have the characters persue relationships (I really hope so for that too).

Their ages, if I remember correctly, are:
Isaac is 17
Garet is 17
Ivan is 15
Mia is 17
Felix is 18
Jenna is 16
Sheba is 14
Peirs is... we don't know, do we?

Generally, the guy is the same age or older than the girl in relationships, so that narrows it down.

Based on clues from the game, it seems like Sheba's to be paired with either Felix or Ivan (more likely Felix, because he like her so much that he'd be perfectly filling to jump off a lighthouse after her). So let's say it's Felix/Sheba.

Next, Isaac gets either Jenna, Mia, or Fezhi. Both seem quite reasonable. I'd say it's Isaac/Mia, because Mia puts a lot of trust in Isaac, the first thing Isaac blurted out at the JLH was "Mia!" even though Garet was in real danger, and they both seem to be at the same maturity level. I could go into the reasons for Isaac/Jenna, but I'm too lazy for that and I personally think Mia is better for him. There's also Fezhi, who obviously like Isaac, so that's another possibility, but I doubt it goes both ways.

Following that, we have Garet. He gets Jenna. There are some subtle clues drop here and there, such as how they always walk side-by-side (in both games), and if you read Garet's grandma's mind, (if memory serves) she thinks something like, "It seems Garet's walking around with a beautiful girl. I wonder what Jenna will say when she finds out." Not to mention she gets really defensive for Garet when Sheba teases him at the end of the second game. So I think it's Garet/Jenna.

So where does that leave Ivan and Piers? I guess they'll be bachelors unless Camelot adds new characters if/when GS3 gets started. At least it's not too bad for Ivan, since he's got his older sister, who happens to be friends with Fezhi...

Felix, Sheba. This is a possibility. I really think Sheba has feelings for Felix.

Don't you think Sheba would go better with Ivan and Felix with Garet's older sister.

There is definately something with Felix and Sheba. Ever since the Venus Lighthouse incident Sheba has been dropping sign to Felix. Felix obviously cares for Sheba, otherwise he wouldn't stand up for her a Venus Lighthouse, and he wouldn't dive off the Lighthouse after her. Of course, he could just be thinking about her as a very close friend.

With Isaac, I've seen a lot of good fanfics about Mudchipping, but the only sign ever dropped with another party member was Jenna. Jenna was a close friend to Isaac, and she depended on him and Garet for those 3 years since the Storm of Mount Aleph. However, Isaac could go with Feizhi, if you know the Golden Ring scene at Champa. I wonder why Feizhi didn't just stay with Hsu/Ulmulch. :ph34r:

For Mia, either Isaac or Garet works. They're both her age and she knows them very well. However, there is never a hint dropped about Mia with Isaac, but there is with Garet. In the last scene, Isaac is with his family, Felix playing with Jenna, Sheba, Ivan, and Piers are mixed around in the crowd, and Mia is with Garet. Mia did like Alex before he abandoned her and Imil, and Alex still does care for Mia quite a lot, unless he was just consealing his mind to Felix at Jupiter Lighthouse. I doubt, however, that Mia would fall for him after all he has done, unless not everything is what they seem to be, and Alex truly is doing good (could he?).

Garet either likes Jenna or Mia. He likes Jenna in the beginning, but later it seems he likes Mia. Feelings change. However, Isaac and Jenna never get a hint in GS1.

Piers could be centuries or even millenia old. He would probably end up with someone his own age, don't you think? He's the loose end to the relationships.

Ivan works with Sheba, but there isn't any hint to it at all, unless you count the departure from Atteka Inlet Scene, which isn't love related it seems to me. Heck, there is so little to go by this is almost pointless.

All in all, I believe that Camelot wants the players to either not look into this so much, or else just imagine what it could be. They're leaving it up to us to decide. So this is quite silly to be writing about, so i'm going to eat now.

Upon a closer look at that cutscene with everyone outside of Vale after it got swallowed up, it seems as if Garret and Mia are not looking at each other. Garret is looking at Ivan and Kraden, whereas Mia is looking into the distance, possibly Piers and Sheba. To further complicate things, her right arm is on Ivan's shoulders.

Say, I've got a question. In the end of The Lost Age, Sheba is standing really close to Piers! Coincidence? Or a pairing? She seemed to be the one closest to Piers the entire trip, and seemed inclined to ask him personal questions (How old are you, Piers? ^_^ ). At first, in the first Golden Sun, they hint at a Felix/Sheba thing, but after a while, it doesn't really seem to work out.
Well, back to Piers. If you think about it, age would actually be an issue here. The two sentries guarding Lemuria's entrance are older than Kraden, right? Well, Piers is older than them. Pairing up Sheba with Piers is worse than Kraden making out with Sheba... Would that make him a pedophile...?*Shiver*
