-_- I can't remember NOT when we ever said that school was easy...if we ever did went to college, I would go to the one where my brother went to. :) I think we're going to get a lot of pressure for 4 more years.

Don't worry the SATS are not that bad. I've done them and I survived. I remember the teachers kept telling us that they would be so hard and I was worried. But the only bad thing that happened in the tests was that a bee flew into the room and kept bothering me!
Also year nine is not too bad. I was worried like you when I started it but I met new people who were cool. I'm sure that once the first week is over you won't fell so bad. :)

I was able to get by the science, but somehow the Mr. Cassady always gave me the range around B-C...88% of the time, but I guess h.s is gonna be ... much harder. ._.

i really don't care about going back to school. I'm not really noticed there. I have a few close friends, but thats really it. I don't try to be popular as 98% of my school does. And i really don't mind summer ending.

I've got the coolest english/swedish teacher. She is funny and does things like the other teachers doesn't, like joking. And she's given us four rules to follow, and if we follow them, we'll get 1point per class. After 30 points she'll take us out for a field trip.
No one of the other teachers do things like that, we only ones got ice cream because we didn't talk for 1 and a half hour.

I want an awesome photoshop teacher, like my old computer teacher. She was awesome, and she made me and my friend Teacher's Assistants because we kept getting ahead of the class. And I want a cool spanish teacher...who actually speaks spanish...

I thought I'd tell you this. The teacher we had in year 5 ( I'm not sure which grade this is in America) had a second job as a clown.
This is actually true. He came dressed up as one one day.
I also had a teacher who threw a lunch box at one of my sisters friends. However this teacher was probably insane. ^_^

I had a large panic when a came home from holiday last Saturday. I thought my sister had thrown my timetable for the new year away. Then it turned out she had put it on my windowsill. That was the only place I didn't think to look.

Who here hates to go back to school shopping? That's why I buy my junk just before school is about to end. Pencils, paper, binders and everything else. Then, when summer kicks in I throw it all my stuff into my closet never to be seen again until school comeback.

My parents buy it for me, I don't complain with anything I get so I'm cool. I have all my "musts" already, pencil, pens, geo sets etc. etc.

eight grade sucks. HAha, highschool's been the best for me so far. Now, I'm not saying i like shcool or anything, just that highschool's been my most preferred stages of education so far.

Giving props to people I haven't seen all summer and the same normal teachers I have seen for the last 2 years. All and all pretty boring. For some reason I expected more.....interaction among me and my classmates.

Mine neither. I'm in Year 11 now (last year of compulsory education) and all we did was get our new timetables, speak to friends and the like. We have a new headteacher, who has changed the timetable round, so we now start at 8.35am and finish at 2.50pm, with 40minutes lunch, and a 20 minute break.

My school was given a week off from school. So I start school on the 12th, whereas I was soppose to start on the 5th. I'm not pleased with this at all since I only found out Sunday when I did all my preparations already!

I'm not in eight grade by the way...i said highschool HAS BEEN the most fun so far ...And heck, if i'd stayed in Argentina I'd already have graduated in december of last year...but I was held back when I came here, and put in the eight grade again. Good thing i had started school early in Argentina, a year early, so being held back didn't hurt me much. I am now a Senior in highschool, still graduating early (december, to be exact, I'll take my final exams the last day before Winter Break). Should've graduated in June, because I was in the FMS pogram (I think that's what it's called, it requires only 18 credits, and no community service), but, again, lady luck felt like screwing around with me again, and not only mine, but everyone else's enrollment in the program was cancelled. So, I took some courses online, in order to be able to graduate in half a year instead of the whole 9-9 1/2 months. Btw, with my school's system you could not normally graduate in half a year, because with the way the schedule's set up, all classes last the whole school year.

Here we only do Spanish/French as a foreign language. This is because CXC (the people who write the exams for the Caribbean) aren't really mature yet since its a new organisation. I'd say in around 20 years maximum the Caribbean will be offered all those subjects.

Thats a language that would never be offered here. Only Spanish and French. I'm probably gonna drop spanish next year, but a Senior said that it looks good on your record when it gets sent to colleges, so i'll decide later,

i've been in school for a few weeks now and I can tell you that my least favorite classes are biology and geometry. favorite: geography and english. (Shush, I know i'm a nerd)

our geometry teacher is strict, but is really quiet. she's just learning now how to put up with the "talkers". and my biology teacher's famous line is "um". I swear, she probably says it at least 100 times a class period. It drives us insane! She's really fidgety and snorts. yes, thats right, she snorts when she laughs. Plus, she doesn't teach well. I got a 85% on my last test and I had to look in Wiki to figure out what she had "taught" us.
