I heard from a very good source (Someone that I can trust) that a "witch" has been found in England and that people have resorted to torturing her e.e;

I don't know, maybe they just got bored. I have a few 8 year old cousins I'd like to beat, but at least I can maintain my urges.

Maybe it was one of those deals when someone gets fastforwarded into the future, and she convinced everyone that this girl was a witch so that something bad doesn't happen to future generations like in various episodes of Dr. Who.

Or maybe they're just lying about the whole thing for any or more of the following reasons:

-They were beating the kid like maniacs and they couldn't think of a better excuse on the spot.

-They were beating the kid and that was their cover all along.

-Someone made up that story to give us something to talk about.

-Someone made up that story to see who would believe it.

-Someone made up that story to have a sensation of power over other people.

-What have you.

And that concludes my opinions.

There's a difference though. First off, mutants weren't practicing the work of the devil, secondly mutants from X-men aren't real, while people today actualy claim to practice witchcraft.

The closest thing I have seen to mutants is a boy that I know who has a long tail. He's actualy quite popular though. what with his fleshy tail thing waiving all over the place. They even designed special pants for him.
