I'm surprised theres no topic on this yet, but anyway...

Has anyone seen this? I did earlier today, and now its my favorite Star Wars movie, though, it is a little violent at parts, and the special effects were awesome. The movie is about how Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader, how the Galactic Empire formed, and why Leia and Luke were seperated at birth.

I saw it 5 times!!! I couldn't stand enough of it! And that's the truth. I'm gonna see it 2 more times. One with mom and dad, the other with my two god-brothers. That movie was simply beyond awsome. That's what I gotta say.

It is the best movie in the box office right now.
You guys cannot say that movie wasn't good. even for you Star Wars haters who went to see it anyway.

Apparantly is was heacier on action and less on story than the first 2. I'll see it eventually of course.

I saw the movie and it was alright. It's about time they got Yoda fighting with the guy instead of jumping off walls and doing useless flips like in episode 2. It was more action pack and the jedi battles weren't that bad. Though the last battle between Anikan Skywalker and Obi-one(sp?) was just stupid. The guy told him not to jump and Obi-one was at a higher level of ground then Skywalker. It was obvious that he shouldn't have jumped.

Well, I did really like the Battle of Anakin and Obi-Wan, until the part when Anakin got his legs and arms cut off, and burned alive.

I loved that battle! The music for that one was really good. Yoda's line when Palpatine was gonna go through the door, "If so powerful you are, why leave?" Jeeze, I loved that!

I've seen it. It was brilliant. The lightsaber duels were great and R2D2 pwned at the start. However, too many people got their hands cut off and Dooku and Grievous died too early.

I couldn't agree more. I got so much into it, I started biting my fingers. It was incredible. Obi-Wan was the coolest. ^^

The best Star wars movie ever. But I didn't enjoy watching it because everyone around me was talking and/or laughing about what happened. Then my friend told me about people crying when they engaged "order 66".

I finally saw it last night. It was pretty ood, just left a few holes.

George lucas said this is his last, and he wasn't sad that it was ending, he was happy that all of his years in the movie business paid off. But I'm pretty sure A crazed fan is going to do the rest of the series (With Anakin Solo, Jason, all them).

Ha, you would think Anakin Skywalker would have turned to the light side at the end of this movie, due to, you know what happened to him, and when the emperor said that thing to him. :P Come on, I don't want to give it away.

I think, story-wise, it didn't meet the older movies at all, but effects and acting-wise, it beat it.

then R2 lke shocks people and burned 2 sith robots omg LOL SO FUNNY....I found parts of the dialogue korny though...like this part

TOO TRUE. I don't think grievous died too early, but he did die a dumb death, he should have had better armor. Dooku died to early, it was pathetic. Jar-Jar actually has no speaking parts in the whole movie, at least none that I recall, but he did see the emperor as a bad dude.

I haven't seen it yet, and am not in a hurry too see it either, despite being a big Star Wars fan.

I heard the acting was terrible, but the special effects were good. As much as I hate the actor who plays Anakin, and want to see him fall into molten rock, I can wait. Just thinking of his face again makes me...ugh...

I also heard about Grevous, the robot that smoked too much. Didn't sound to interesting. Despite the fact he's some big bad Jedi killer.

Dooku...Well Dooku...I never liked him. Palpatine sucks. Jar-Jar...meh, he still sorta sucks.

The only people who don't suck, IMO, are Obi-Wan and Mace Windu. And Yoda. Yoda can live.

The old Star Wars' had better stories than the new ones, and I think that the special effects were more spectacular for the old ones, because they built everything for the old ones by scratch.

That's all my opinion though.

Special effects, were indeed very well, but I didn't much go for the acting as well, everyone seems to have that opinion here, I wondered actually why the movie doesn't have the piece where you actually see the fall of Curoscant.

I think how order 66 went was really dumb. For one thing, the Jedi are masters, so they could have taken out the 6 dudes who atacked.

I just saw it for the 7th time, and recognized some stuff. When Order 66 was initiated, the Jedi, really hardly showed any resistance. Like that blue Twi'Lek, Aayla Secura, just turned around and got plasma pumped into her. But the part I really liked, the one with Bail Organa about to leave the Temple? Remember that kid that went to protect him? Guess who that was? George Lucas's son, Jett Lucas. Changed his characters name to Zett Jukassa. The acting in Episodes 4,5, and 6 were much better than episodes 2 and 3. The special effects in Revenge of the Sith were MUCH better than the other ones. Had the most lightsaber duels, and had an appropriate rating too. Lucas needed all the violence to show the TRUE nature of Revenge of the Sith. That's why he needed all the dismemberments. And another thing, George wanted General Grievous to die like that. He felt like it was a good way to end the duel. But I have to say, Obi-Wan IS a good shot. And I'll give you the order of the best swordsman in the galaxy from yoda to plo koon.

I just watched it a few minutes ago and it's great. I give it an 8/10. It wasn't supposed to have a lot of action as it was a "transitional" movie that was meant to tie up loose ends between episode 2 and episode 4. Great movie.

i know everyone is gonna kil me after sayin this :unsure: but the way that anakin just killed dokoo is retarded especially since he creamed both anakin and obi-won in episode II, and general greivous, i thought he was supposed to be the jedi slayer. and whats with the coughing. that was dumb :silence:

Well, Obi-Wan and Anakin is much stronger then a normal Jedi. And choughing was because he had his heart, I guess. And Anakin must have gotten better after Episode II.
